She suffers from an allergy to food. Although she would eat any brand of cat food put in front of her she gained no weight and was often sick after eating. My vet did several test and she was tried on Royal Canin sensitivity food at about 3 months old she is now four and is a fit and healthy little cat . She loves the food and has thrived well on it. For years my Tonkinese cat would shed so much fur, more than is normal. I’d brush him, and the fur would just keep coming. Even just stroking him would result in lots of stray fur. He also vomits his food a few times/week, and has for many years. He was always a good weight though and healthy otherwise. I tried changing his dry food so many times to different brands, or same brand but different types (grain free, sensitive, hypoallergenic, etc), as vet thought he must have a sensitive stomach. The only food that actually worked to stop the shedding fur was this Royal Canin Sensitivity Control (with duck protein). Unfortunately he still vomits every now and again but it seems to be less than before. He was on this for a few months and all was going well with his fur, ... MoreFor years my Tonkinese cat would shed so much fur, more than is normal. But then we had to change his diet to Renal Select to accomodate his newly diagnosed kidney disease, and once again his fur is shedding a lot again, and looks dull again. So it was definitely working some magic on him.

This product turned out to be a great alternative to the Hills Prescription diet my cat had been on. Due to supply chain issues it was providing almost impossible to get hold of Hills stock. I slowly introduced this product with the Hills stock and it worked out extremely well. Now I mix both for my cat who has an extremely sensitive gut. Nice to not be reliant on just the one product.

Our cat is now healthy.
4 November 2022

Our adopted cat was very sick. She was always hungry and had serious diahorreah and vomiting so we took her to the vet who diagnosed Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She was allergic to fish and most meats. We tried many foods including another Vet Control Diet for IBS but Royal Canin was (is) her favourite and it's worked really well. She's been eating both the dry and wet Sensitivity Control food for 3 years, still loves it and is now a healthy little girl enjoying life to the full.

As recommended by our veterinary surgery, specialist cat food for cats with food sensitivities or ibs. One of our cats is a purebred Bengal and we were warned that pure breeds all have various illnesses in later life, when it finally came time out vet recommended this food, along with regular injections, because this cat food whilst having all the nutrients needed, is bland and gentle on the digestive system. Our sensitive cat, having gone completely off her food, immediately snaffled this all up.

A really good food for cats with sensitive tummy’s. My tabby kitty guzzles it and is really healthy and happy. Unfortunately my picky cat isn’t as much of a fan, but he is fussy - so that’s not a criticism.

I am very happy with my purchase of a hard to find, speciality food for my cat. I have not found this specific food anywhere else online. My cat has problems with cystitis, and is allergic to poultry proteins, which make all the other specialist urinary foods unsuitable because they all contain poultry proteins. Even if they are not a poultry flavour, those proteins are used in the make up of these dry foods. But this one is actually called "Specific" - (Urinary) Crystal Management". I am delighted with it, and he is getting used to eating it, despite only liking one brand of specialist 'sensitivity diet' dry food, and the fact that he hates wet food. I feed this to both my cats. The older one has gastrointestinal problems which make it impossible for him to eat ordinary cat food. The younger one doesn't have problems but he can eat this too which makes feeding time simple.

My cat, Sailo have quite a no of problems. His lost one of his eyes when we adopted him. And he also have kidney/bladder problem and GI problem. He vomits very often, the food seems never digested . We consulted the vet and he suggested Sailo to take Royal Canine Sensitivity Control. Lucky that he likes the taste(he is picky, no surprise). He vomits much less, though still occasionally when he eat fast).
