There is very little commercial Renal food for dogs. This is the best of them. My dog seems to enjoy his food and he seems to be very healthy for an old dog. Would not use any other renal dog food. Highly recommend.

My dog went in for an operation (one of many) but was unable to as her kidneys results were extremely poor and spent some time on IV fluids. Prior to that she was depressed and had little to eat, not vet and I thought it was the pain from her leg. Since going on the Royal Canin diet, her kidneys have stabilised, her energy level has increased tenfold and she?s bright and happy again and as energetic as she was as a puppy. She's 7 years old. The diet works!

My dog changed from her urinary diet food to renal/kidney diet a couple of years ago. I have tried the Hills kidney diet, RC Special and this original one. This is the only kibble my dog eats with a bit of a topper mixed in.

This product is excellent. It was suggested by our vet to put my dog on a renal diet. As I have always used Royal Canine I thought I would try theirs first. I was concerned, as most would, whether he would eat it. I should not of worried, mixing it with the Renal Canine Renal pouches he loves it. For a treat and a bit of variation I add small amounts of chicken breast or salmon fillet occasionally.
Does the job, one gripe I do have is when you run promotions or sales. Have never once had this or the previous vet diet I have had from you on promotion. Prefer not to have to trawl through all the gubbins only to find nothing for my dog. If you can do offers why not activate them when orders are being done, not just for me, for all of your customers. If you knew anything about me or more particularly my dog you would know we have very specific needs at this moment in time! PS. On a plus I am not looking for money off as I'm sure you know you are very much the leader on price. Thanks!
