Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay Maze 16-Piece Porcelain Dinner Set

I’m considering open shelving to show these off! They’re a bit of a splurge but definitely worth it. They’re the best everyday dishes I’ve ever had. Substantial and durable yet still very elegant. Plates taper up nicely around edges, so a knife doesn’t slip off when placed there. Mugs hold more than a cup but less than a typical mug (which I appreciate, but for some if might mean more trips to the coffee pot). Mug handle is not too small for a man’s finger to loop through. Design is sophisticated and versatile. White is a soft white, not too creamy/yellow or bright/bluish. Just right. I ordered three sets and mistakenly received a box of blue ones, but Wayfair was very responsive and sent the correct set right away. Packaged well. No issues. Love them!

The dinnerwate was beautiful! However, Wayfair seemed to have haphazardly packed the boxes. I bought two sets, packed inside a big box. The one set came packed with ian inner and outer box which is sturdy and intact. The second box just came with the origibal brand box which disengages readily at the seams. That was probably the way it’s designed to so the plates can be removed easily. Wayfair packed bot sets in one big box and the other set of plates were half scattered inside the box! Good thing nothing broke. Impressed with tthedelivery company!

Ordered 3 sets in the Dark Grey. Absolutely love them! The color is lighter and bluer than pictured but I think it makes them more versatile and gives them a timeless feel. I immediately loved the color! They also have a great weight, shape and quality look. The bowls are perfect for everything from snacks to soup. I like that they are more shallow and wider than most. The plates are a nice size and I like that they have a bit of a curve which holds in juices (I wasn't sure I would). The cups are nice to hold, could be a bit bigger, but then they might not match the style of the set as well. They all nestle well together in the dishwasher which is important to us as it's usually over-full. Very pretty set! I love the size, shape and functionality of each piece. The glaze is gorgeous. They have a really nice medium weight to them. I ordered two set of creamy white. I highly recommend this Dinnerware Set. Thank you Wayfair!

I’ve only had these for a week so I can’t say how sturdy they are, but I have accidentally bumped them a few times and no chips so far! I have mostly had Corelle for everyday dishes for the last 20 to 30 years so I am a little nervous about these but so far they seem durable. I love the colors, I ordered half blue and half white and they are very pretty. The bowls are large compared to the Correlle ones but I like them and they stack well. The mid- size plate is nice for a light supper and is big enough to hold a bowl of soup with room for bread on the side of the plate. The dinner plate is large and sturdy. They might be a little on the heavy side but I expected that. I am quite happy with this choice!

Love it. Quality white ware. Buy the set and save money. You can make a nice presentation of your food with this set. I got tired of colors and prints, I want my food to look delicious! The dinner plates have a nice rim, and are large. The bowls are perfectly sized, not too deep, shallow, small or large. The mugs are a perfect size. Most sets have oversized mugs that do not work. These are plenty large enough for a generous serving, yet not clumsy. You would be surprised at the compliments I get on the mugs alone! Would buy again. Would highly recommend to everyone. Goes with all decor.

GORGEOUS dinnerware set!! Elegant yet practica

These dishes are elegant yet practical. I’ve had them before in a past lifeThey look expensive. They have just enough weight to them yet light enough for everyday use. Even my In laws come over and comment how gorgeous our new dinnerware are. I waited for the Boxing Day sale where they go down to $85/16 dish set. It’s a steal. I would even pay the $130 for this set. Linen Chest suggested a delivery date of 2-6 weeks. They showed up in 2 weeks. I was worried about ordering online and shipping plates. Everything was very well packaged. We bough 20 of everything and not a chip in anything. Well done! Thank you!!

Great design and serving size.

I am quite satisfied with the design and size of the dinner set. It can hold large serve of food in each category. Only downside is that its takes more space in the dishwasher and the total washing load is reduced by 25% when the whole set is put for washing. One of the 18cm bowl was chipped on arrival and i was offered to return the whole set via post/drop in store but i kept it.

Really love how simple the design of these plates are. My husband even liked them. They are quite big so I always hand wash the dinner plates as they don’t fit in my dishwasher. The are definitely off-white as others mentioned but I still think they go with other white dinnerware. Overall really love these, also bought the matching pasta bowls! No scratches so far after a month of everyday use. No staining! Quite durable and seems like they will last. Husband has dropped some while washing in the sink and no chips or anything!

Outstanding Quality & Design!

This is my second set to make an 8-piece setting - I convinced my husband that it was time to upgrade from our original day-to-day dishes after 20 years. We all love the look and the extra space each piece provides with the unique curved edges. Particularly good for any recipe with a sauce. Every meal looks great! The bowls are a nice size (spacious but not huge; shallower than most but wide so they work really well). The coffee mugs even make the coffee taste better! The finish glaze is incredibly smooth. They fit the dishwasher fine but take up a bit more room to accommodate the curve. The weight is a bit more than our old set but not too heavy. Linen Chest also has had the Best price for this high quality set by Royal Doulton that I have found.
