This oil is actually better than most of the full synthetic oil. Even after 600 to 7000 miles of driving, it still has very good viscosity not sludgish. I dare to say it’s even better than Mobil 1. And I think it’s in par with Liquid Moly which is a German oil that’s way too expensive to use. But I did use Liquid Moly before and I’ll say Royal Purple is in par with Liquid Moly but cheaper if you buy it from Walmart. So do buy your shopping from Walmart and save some money.

I've been using royal purple for a while. Just did an oil change at 7500kms to get ready for camping season and the old oil looked brand new. It didn't have the purple colour but had a nice amber colour, I can't believe how well this oil holds up.I am very particular about doing oil changes 5-7500kms because it's cheap, easy maintenance. This oil can probably go triple that number but to each his own.PS, anyone stating this oil improves gas mileage is wrong. They either needed an oil change BADLY or they were using the incorrect grade. Motor oil alone cannot increase fuel economy as it has nothing to do with air/fuel mixture in a 4 stroke fuel injected engine.

I have tried various oils in my 2010 Odyssey with 101k miles. This oil, made engine really quiet. It used to have a valve noise which was very easy to hear with Mobil at certain times. Tried Amsoil, Castrol Edge, Pennzoil, Valvoline and the sound was still there, but was better than Mobil. This one completely eliminated it. MPG, haven't noticed much difference with short trips and long trips compared to other oils. The sound, may be after adjusting the valves, it will go away with other oils too. Power delivery seems to be little bit smoother too. Could be because the noise is not there. So far, haven't noticed any oil burning issues.Over all i am satisfied. Highly recommend.
Would recommend Royal Purple products to anyone. I own several vehicles that I mostly maintain myself. When I do have an issue that needs a mechanics attention, they all hugely react to how miraculously clean the internals of my engines are. By the way, ALL my cars have more than 200k, some more than 300k miles. Walmart has the BEST price and it is ALWAYS available. Highly recommended by yours truly.
I'm a big fan of Royal Purple products. However, when I went to the store to purchase oil for my oil change I went in with the idea that, per the ad, there would be a free box of purple nitrile gloves. When I arrived the staff was not very friendly and approachable at first. When checking out the cashier didn't offer the free gloves. When I asked he had to ask someone else. They sounded like they didn't know about the ad either and said that I would need to purchase the gloves, there were none available, and then send in for a rebate. All of this for a box of gloves is too much. I left with my oil and unsatisfied about my transaction.
Great product but poor delivery experience. Just started using Royal Purple on my 2013 CR-V oil changes over Mobile 1. The SUV runs smooth and looks to be getting about an extra mile or so per gallon. No issues with the product but it shouldn’t be left by my garage since anyone can stop by in the neighborhood and steal it. Wal-Mart needs to require that all packages be left on the front door. I have a 2024 Grand Highlander 2.4 turbo. Unfortunately I didn’t have good results with this oil. I added it to my engine after it has 5K miles, replacing Mobil One Extended performance that replaced the original brake in oil at 1K miles. My results may differ from others. But in my vehicle, I lost MPG. I averaged 19.1 MPG with Mobil one, while with Royal Purple it went down to 18.7 until I replaced it again with Mobil one Extended performance. I’ve lost 35 miles per gallon while I had Royal Purple in my engine. With this gas prices, every mile counts.
I currently run this in my Subaru. The car has consistently burnt about a quart of oil every 2-2500 miles depending on brand, but since I made the switch it doesn't burn at all between changes. I also have noticed a slight decrease in average oil temps from ~215 degrees to ~205. Definitely worth a few bucks more per change for me.
Been using royal purple on and off for years on my vehicles and equipment. Running in now solely in a new vehicle to help keep it running good and keep any internal buildup to a minimum. I almost always add a flush prior to oil change as well. With royal purple being a top shelf formula I expect zero trouble from my new vehicle. Oil may seem expensive but not anywhere near the cost poor quality oil coupled with not enough oil changes can cost. Run a good oil like royal purple and change it often. An oil change is basically the cost of a tank of fuel every few months. You won't be let down using this oil.
