Royal Revolution EDP Spray 100ml - Katy Perry

This is NOT SHALIMAR Eau de Cologne travel size as shown on the Walmart Website. When I received my package it is Katy Perry Royal Revolution. I was so disappointed because I wanted to test a small bottle to see if the fragrance was still compatible. I received Shalimar as a gift over 50 years ago and wore it for 30 years. Like most women as I had hormonal changes Shalimar did not smell the same on me. I will say all the years I have ordered online with Walmart I’ve been a satisfied customer.

I brought it from vacation and he smelled for another week (despite the fact that it wasn’t fresh 😳). The fragrance was all over the room and since then I have been searching for a fragrance in which this flower would clearly be felt 😊 At first, I didn't really like this fragrance, it seemed too simple and not versatile. And in this fragrance all this is! ❤️ Every time I wear this fragrance — hear a lot of compliments (over my much more expensive perfumes!), everyone likes it very much (maybe because it smells sweet 🍬). For me, pralines 🍫 and frangipani are clearly felt in this aromatic. This fragrance lasts on me all day, even my clothes still smell on the next day. This is such a nice scent. O absolutely love it. It's woody, warm, musky with a touch of sweetness and powder. I love the bottle. It's so gorgeous. I find this scent blends with my natural scent so well and yet it doesn't fade. If I ever have to reapply it's just one time. It stays all day.

Love this perfume . The price is amazing at £12 for 100ml. I use this as a day to day perfume and save my more expensive for nights out or going somewhere. The scent lasts ages I can still smell it at night time when I put it on 1st thing in the morning. It has top notes of pink freesia and pomegranate, middle notes of sandalwood orange flower and jasmine petals and base notes of mystical blackthorn and vanilla orchid. It smells beautiful with I would say the pink freesia and jasmine coming through in the s cent. I would definately recommend for an every day perfume x

This perfume is suitable for everyday use. The bottle is elegant and convenient in a purse. In my perspective, the perfume does start to fade after a while, but no worries—just reapply and you're good to go! Its 100ml size is excellent. The packaging is exquisite. The glass perfume bottle has a diamond-like shape . The scent is not my prefered pick. Even now, I adore having it in my collection.

Great value for money and my gosh it smells lovely

I absolutely love this perfume, it smells incredible! Great value for money too. My only (tiny) critique would be that it doesn’t stay on this skin long. But I LOVE spraying it so I make sure I have it with me in my bag most of the time. The design of the bottle is so beautiful, I’ve had so many nice comments on both the gorgeous bottle and the aroma. Love this one

Killer Queen opens with a rich plum note. I can also make out what I think is raspberry. The plum note is long and distinctive, so carries down to the heart of the perfume, along with the patchouli. This mixture of plum and patchouli is very similar to Midnight Heat by Beyonce another Coty release. Im not familiar with celosia, and except for the jasmine I am not able to separate any floral notes from the sweetly powdered floral jumble heart of the fragrance, as the praline develops and mixes with the patchouli, lasting for the duration of the perfume. I think that the powdered floral mix is very similar to Taylor by Taylor Swift Elizabeth Arden overall, so maybe there is magnolia in Killer Queen There is no strong indication between the heart notes and the base, ... MoreKiller Queen opens with a rich plum note. The soft, creamy praline adds a slight nuttiness so it is a warm, comforting mix, which does lend a bit of a different air to Killer Queen as it dries down. The final drydown reminds me of Lancmes La Vie Est Belle, so theres nothing new here either. Official scent notes wild berries, dark plum, bergamot, velvety red flower Celosia, Sambac jasmine, rainbow plumeria, cashmere, patchouli and liquid praline. Killer Queen is pleasant and easy to wear for autumnwinter, but not anything to get excited about. I love perfumes with praline andor vanilla in, but this is meh for me it reminds me of other perfumes all the way through. I will happily use my bottle as its here, but I wouldnt choose to buy it for myself. With a new company now in charge of the Katy Perry fragrances Coty, Katy promising a new mature image, the meaning behind the perfumes name, and the marketing campaign for this, I was expecting Killer Queen to be adult, a bit more unique and confidently commanding. However the result is still young and unoriginal. Killer Queen doesnt have a unique stamp of its own to make it stand out from the crowd, and it is not something that Id imagine Katy herself actually wearing.

Im not entirely convinced Killer Queen bucks that trend but Ive only owned it for about an hour at present and am actually quite liking it.I bought it blind having never sampled or actually heard of it as the bottle sort of grabbed me whilst searching through discounted perfumes on Perfumes of London. For some reason Im always drawn to red perfume bottles, probably because my all time favourite perfume is Hypnotic Poison.Killer Queen is packaged in a lovely red ruby cut style bottle with a gold crown top. Because of its tapered pointed end the bottle cannot stand up and I think a little holder would be a great addition for a future gift set.Ive read quite a few reviews saying they find this smells similar to Flowerbomb which I get as the initial hit does have that same floral note. Although I find it a bit more spicyheady and not as sweet as Flowerbomb Im sure one of the Kylie perfumes is a closer match to Flowerbomb for those looking for a cheaper alternative to it.After wearing this for about an hour its actually the discontinued Alexander McQueen Kingdom that this most reminds me of. I was gifted a bottle of that when it was first released and really liked it although it was a bit to spicydirty as a day perfume but nice for the evenings. This seems to be reacting to my skin in the same way as Kingdom as its the Bergamont and Vanilla I smell strongest with the floral notes in the background. Makes it quite punchy but I like a strong scent and I can see myself wearing this.Im by no means a big Katy Perry fan so having her name attached to this scent doesnt really add any sway for me, but on the basis of Killer Queen I may just have a sniff of some of her other scents next time Im in Boots. Im really pleasantly surprised by this perfume and its such a bargain price for a 100ml bottle. If youve been thinking of trying it and havent yet give it a go.
