I bought one of these to use as a slimline bin for plastic recycling in my kitchen.It is so useful, as it is almost as tall as the worktops, and yet nice and narrow so takes up very little space. It holds a massive volume. Takes a full size black bin liner and holds a lot more volume than a normal kitchen bin would.The method it has for holding the bin liner in place is great very easy to use.Im using mine without a lid as Im only putting clean recyling into it and its just so easy to use in this way.Very good quality, and actually looks pretty nice too. I had been considering a stainless steel bin that would have been 4 times this price, so this is a real bargain.

Great quality bin. Very sturdy and is a great size. Beware: the color seems to have been changed, and is now the same darker green as the non-recycling version. I was hoping to use color to differentiate sorting between this FG354007GRN "Recycling Green" and the 1956186 "Green" bin like the online photos showed.

Can you love a trash can? I don't know but if you can I do. The are great. We bought this for our everyday trash can because I was tired of us filling the 13 gallon can every day. For any family w kids or a couple who stays home and cooks the 13 gallon trash can just isn’t big enough ! I liked this so much I bought another one for the basement trash can or for outside in the summer! I will add that the first one was delivered with a small piece broken off of the corner so I moved that one downstairs and kept new one upstairs! I didn’t notify the company because of our busy schedule and just figured we would make due and we did just fine, but I would guess that had I they would have replaced the trash can no problem!!

The cost is extremely good and the thickness is just right, not too thin and not too thick. The lid we chose for it was perfect as well; it was the matching color duo-flap. It keeps the odors where they belong and we can now drop in an empty 1 gallon jug. This can is designed for commercial duty usage and it is just that so, we're happy to know it will last for a long time in our home.
I think it was PT Barnum who said,”…there’s a sucker born every minute.” I guess that now describes me. I purchased this for use in the backyard barbecue area. The picture made it look like it had a cover but sadly, it does not. When I tried to find a cover it was almost the same price as the can. I grudgingly bought one which doesn’t stay closed! You used to be able to trust name brands but I guess that’s fallen by the wayside too. While the can itself is sturdy, it is of no use to me without a good lid. I am very disappointed with this purchase.
Love this trash can and the lid we purchased separately. Expensive, yes but all good trashcans are. (just take a look at simplehuman prices, ick!). Everything works great and it fits perfectly in my small trash spot, its just we are having issues finding a bag that fits. The 13 gallon certainly doesn't fit so I got 20 gallon. Even the 20 gallon doesn't have a mouth wide enough to go around the top. I'm wondering if its the drawstring kind thats the issue as it doesn't stretch enough. So we'll try 30 gallon, but in a 16 gallon trash bin it seems a waste. I wonder if I can find a non drawstring wide mouth 20 gallon? The search continues.

These recycling containers are perfect space saving yet adequate storage for my recyclables. The quality of these containers is excellent and should last easily for many years. In Maine we recycle everything except trash and styrofoam, so these bins allow me to sort 5 different types of recycling in 5 feet of wall space! I really love that I found these bins and they easily hold a weeks worth of materials. I use 33 gallon trash bags that fit perfect and have enough extra to use the smart bag locks on the top of the bins. These locks are just amazingly smart ideas that I love and use everyday to secure my bags in the bins. No more bags falling into my bins anymore!
