I liked the colour and the handle; however, I purchased this particular slip lead despite its high price point because the brand and stoppers seemed decent, but when in use the stoppers don’t stop it from loosening or tightening. Returned. And unfortunately it us the customer’s responsibility to take care of postage both ways. While I use Ruffwear for their harnesses, I do not recommend this lead.

I bought this leash for my almost 14 month old Golden. I wanted something that was easy to slip on, but could be snug enough to keep her close when she is wanting to escape to lick whatever human catches her eye. It works so well, no more messing around with clips and buckles. I haven’t tried it on a long walk, yet, but it’s perfect for quick trips outside.

This slip leash is great. I haven’t had any problems at all! Very well-made and a great length. I am a frequent user of the chain reaction martingale, but this slip is great for easy-on easy-off and active training sessions. Highly recommend!

It’s been a great way to do training with leash work. I am working with a trainer who uses a similar one. It is very durable and seems to do the trick. My trainers leash is a bit thinner which I like for training. I have other leash products from Ruffwear and love them all.
We bought 4 of these leashes so we could put 2 in each of our cars and always be prepared to take our two yellow labs on walks anytime the mood strikes. These leashes are so easy to use - we can quickly slip them over our dogs heads and adjust the the rubber bumpers. The leash itself is comfy for the human hand and the dogs responded well to them. We should have bought these much earlier!
I love it! Using a slip lead properly and safely requires some training for both the handler and the dog. This slip lead helped me to better understand how to use a slip lead effectively, and it helped my dog respond properly. I love the texture of the leash and the reflective aspect, and the diameter is perfect for my large breed dog (it seems to be in between another major slip lead brand’s sizes) . The covered handle is a must…much better than hanging on to a rope handle like most slip leads. I like that there’s an additional rubber stopper to keep the leash from closing TOO much. I plan to purchase more…wish they came in a larger color selection!
Excellent, robust lead and fit for purpose. My friend had a slip lead with the flap of leather stopper rather than the silicone stopper (as seen here) to hold the lead in place and quickly realised it was nowhere near as good as this one. They subsequently bought this lead aswell. I'm very happy with this lead.
Our 6-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepard mix had never been leash trained, so while he was still decent, he wasn’t great and went too crazy at times. We have tried different leashes, but nothing ever seemed to work. This leash though actually worked. I was worried if it would slip off at first, but you know your dog can’t get out of it because it only gets tighter when they try to do so. I think our dog being a smart breed definitely made it easier, but us amateurs trying to train him to walk by us only took a week or so. Highly, highly recommended!
I am a degreed veterinary nurse and used these at our clinic for my own hand comfort as well as their security. Several of my coworkers loved the leashes too. I still use them for my personal dogs. Over the years, we've lost two leashes and one got chewed on by a puppy.This leash has a newer more secure design yet is the same reliable JAC leash I still love.What I'd REALLY love is another JAC with a thinner cord for smaller dogs - wouldn't that be great! My field-bred Lab is small and that would suit her neck much better, though the current JAC works for her and my larger Chessie.
We own four of these leashes for three dogs. One leash came unraveled after two years. Not clear why and considered having it looked at for repair but too difficult in these times.
