Ordered and received 4 of the Oxford style 596HBM0 Men's "Dri-Power" Sweatpants. They are surprisingly cheaply made. Expected more in the weight of material, the drawstring (it's just a cheap white loop rope vs. actual drawstrings with capped ends), and the height of the waist band (it's only 1 1/2" vs. 2" or 3"). VERY BASIC sweat pant for the price. Pretty sure I could've done better at Walmart.

I bought these for my dad & he loves them! My family has worn Russell sweats for years but now I can't find them in my town. Bonus of shopping on Russell site, I came across the open bottom sweats. My very active 90 yr old dad has some sensitivity issues with his legs & the closed bottom sweats were irritating, so he had been cutting off the elastic bottoms. He loves the open bottom sweats & the bonus of pockets! (My fault for not reading inseam measurements, so they were too long on him. Easy fix, the neighbor is hemming them.) I will definitely be buying more!

Good quality gym or exercise pant. I use it in gym and in work. Thick material. Zipper at bottom. The price is almost double in 18 months. I am buying this for long time. Full price of the product increased almost double. Stays almost new wash after wash.

Husband & brother surprised & satisfied with their Christmas presents! Both of them wanted & needed new sweat pants to wear during their relax times. Found the kind they wanted on the Russell website. Had been unable to find the type they wanted in retail stores. They like the relaxed fit, the open, hemmed legs and the weight & softness of the fabric in the “Mens Dri-Power Open Bottom Fleece” pants. They both said these pants are like the comfortable sweats they wore several years ago.
This brand is EXTREMELY inconsistent with their sizing. It's been my experience numerous times. I buy them for various reasons. And when they're right, they're okay. But you absolutely never know what you're going to get with this brand. I started buying these in 2003 and have seen noticeable decrease in quality and fit. These I bought were quite flimsy, but I bough some a few months ago that were okay but another one (gray heather) that pilled after the first wear. I have just gotten rid of Russell sweatpants that I had since 2003 (when they used to give us color options - I had burgundy, royal blue, green.) I still have my yellow and orange ones, and they haven't pilled. Soon, I'll stop bothering with this brand. Too inconsistent and becoming downright cheap.
I received the pants and tried them on. I was happy with the color black and the softness of the material. What I wasn't to happy with is the waist band. I would have preferred a 2" band versus the 1 1/2". I have almost no hips and even with the cord tied they always fall down. Two of my other purchases had the 2" waist band and work very well.
My favorite fleece bottoms are the "MEN’S COTTON RICH 2.0 PREMIUM FLEECE SWEATPANTS". Unfortunately, they have been only available in the XXL and 3XL sizes for the past few months so I bought these as a stop gap. On the positive side they are soft and feel good. However, they do not fit me as well as the cotton ones since they are bigger for the same size, they seem thinner and the drawstring is a loop which is hard to tie instead of separate laces that are easier to tie and keep the pants up even with a wallet and phone in the pockets. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the cotton ones will soon have the large size in stock.
These are amazing feeling soft sweatpants which you can wear to lounge or casual out n about errands. They don’t look like lazy sweatpants like other ones.My only complaint is that they don’t have a backpocket. I get it - these are “athletic” pants - but it’s 2023, most other modern joggers/sweats have a backpocket of some sort. At least include it even if some will not use it. Doesn’t hurt to add it. Other than that these are my favorite sweats.
I just bought 2 pair of these pants. I went back to our Walmart store in rockingham to buy more this morning. Until this Walmart gets its act together I will not be back. It's always in shambles. Guess I'll find a different brand of pants at another retailer. I left my complete selection of over 100.00 at the self checkout because it nor any of the other checkouts accepted cash.
The description stated the model was 6’ 2” and weighed 180 lbs. The picture made the fit of a size large look loose and comfortable.I am 6’ and 200 lbs. The size large of these sweatpants was swimming on me. I cinched the draw cord tight and the sweatpants would still slide down. I returned the sweatpants. There is no exchange program, the sweatpants have to be returned and reordered. Because of my travel schedule I did not reorder.
