This was bought for me as a gift after our old one died. It was a super cheap knock-off air fryer, but I definitely preferred it over this one.This stupid thing beeps, five LONG and LOUD beeps not only at the end of the cook, but also in the middle! So annoying! Even if you only put something in there for just 2 mins when you want something just a little more cooked or reheated, it will beep after 1 min. There's no way I know of to turn that function off. Air fryers are quite loud, any sort of beeping at all is completely unnecessary. Just the fact that they turn themselves off is enough.Also, the bottom tray has these two holes in it so you can put your fingers in there to move it around. The Russell Hobbs SatisFry Air Extra Large was brilliant. It has a vast cooking space internally and easily fit a whole size 14 chicken. The unit itself was surprisingly compact and not bulky for such a large airfryer.I loved the egg setting for boiling eggs, it worked very well, and also loved the "shake" basket reminder to flip or shake the food. This feature was especially useful in a busy household.The cooking was also very even and it easily does a whole bag of frozen straight cut chips, with no burns or undone areas.It is also not as loud as some other airfryers which was a pleasant surprise.Also, very easy to clean which is an added bonus.Overall I do recommend this product if you are in the market for a family size airfryer.
I've had this for a few weeks now and I'm thoroughly enjoying cooking with it. The chicken wings were so succulent and last night's chicken tenders were a massive hit with the kids.It's so easy to use, especially with the touch screen and shake feature. Cleaning is a breeze too, especially with the removable plate.I think it'll be a permanent feature on my bench-top (for the world to see) because I imagine I'll be using it almost daily and it matches perfectly with my fixed appliances.I can't believe I waited this long to get myself the air fryer. It's a game-changer!
This airfryer has it all. It has a large number of settings for temperatures and times for all sorts of cooking so you don't need to do the guess work. Some foods require the basket to be pulled out halfway through to "shake" the food to ensure even cooking, the preset programs will prompt you to do this when needed. Reheats pizza to perfection, bakes frozen goods evenly, even dehydrates fruit, I made dehydrated orange for my gin and tonics! It goes up to 220 degrees which is much hotter than my other air fryer, and has a pull out drawer for easy use (my other one has a heavy and awkward lift up lid). I was very excited to try this air fryer. I love the look of it and the size is great for a big family. It's pretty simple to use once you read through things quickly. The shelf is great when you are doing smaller things. Without the shelf, there is plenty of room to do roasts or bake cakes. It even says the draw is dishwasher friendly.There were a couple of things that I found when using it. Because the shelf has so many holes, I kind of thought you could fry 2 different layers at the same time. But that wasn't the case at all when I tried it. And sometimes it doesn't seem to cook as quickly as the recipes say for the temperature it is at. As a carnivore, I used to cook my steaks on a cast iron skillet and other cuts in the oven. I didn't think I needed an air fryer but I was persuaded by a friend who insisted they use far less electricity and cook meat far more consistently than the methods I was using. I chose this one as it seemed big enough to fit a large roast and I've not been disappointed. It heats within minutes, cooks meat perfectly, is easy to clean, the dripping collects in the bottom and doesn't burn the way it does in the oven pan so is easy to poor out and store for cooking with. I've had the air fryer 2 weeks and I've used it every day!!! Other reviewers commented on the rubber seals failing. The shelf comes with 6 seals but only needs 4 so I removed 2 to keep as spares.
