This toaster is brilliant! As a Mother of 4 kids, we use our toaster daily. My kids won't eat day old bread so it goes straight into the freezer. The old toaster would either burn ghe bread or leave it frozen in the middle. This toaster solves all that! Being able to watch the bread cook with the colour sense technology was a game changer. No longer have to wait for it to pop up and hope for the best. We even tried Briche bread and it came out so fluffy on the inside and perfectly toasted outside. The styling of this toaster is gorgeous, it looks so clean and sharp in the kitchen and the packaging gives off the ultimate Dolce and Gabbana vibes!! I had kids fighting over who could use it next. 10/10 from me!!

I really wanted to love this toaster but I just couldn't get it to brown the toast how I liked. It says it has colour sense technology, but I'm afraid I couldn't communicate with that. I have added a photo of sourdough which cooked on setting 4 out of a possible 6, was not browned at all. I then did one on 5 and it was better but thought it quite a big difference for a change of one setting. I also found the setting to use when you are toasting frozen bread not to do anything, admittedly I was using setting 4 I need to retry on setting 5 but I would have thought 4 out of 6 setting would show some colour. I did like the warming setting, you put cold toast in and it warms it up, tastes freshly cooked, I used this to brown up the under toasted slices. Great new series from Russel Hobbs. Very trustworthy brand indeed. Nice chrome finish looks very classy and matches any decor. The pair with kettle looks more stylish. Very luxurious to use giving you so many useful features like browning technology. No more guess work with time and no more burnt toast for me. Very quick as well than other toasters I’ve used. Highly recommend this upgrade, it is so worth it making lives easier during rush hour mornings. Great product highly recommended already to friends and family who are sourcing their set soon.
I was always wondering in our world with such huge technological advances, why no-one has invented a really good toaster and I thought this was it, unfortunately not. The toaster is supposed have colour detecting technology which sort of works but only with plain white bread, doesn't work with crumpets, although I haven't tried it with raisin bread. It has a memory of the last toast setting which in reality is useless if the next time you are trying to toast something different. I've stored it away and reinstated my breville toaster which has settings for all type breads, don't know what I was thinking buying this.
I've only just had a basic toaster and everytime the toast is either burnt or not crispy or I have to turn the bread around to toast the part of bread that was sticking out. This toaster is AMAZING. It has nice large and wide slots, so it toasts the bread perfect every time. I can even add in my burger buns. I can set how I want my toast as every family member likes theirs slightly different.
