A reliable budget blender

If you're on a budget and don't expect your blender to make you coffee in the morning and fetch your slippers...then this machine will fill the void. It does everything it claims to do and without much fuss. I lurve the glass container...makes it feel more solid even if the rest is plastic. It's a solid unit and you won't be disappointed. Remember to treat your blender with respect and it will give you hours of reliable use.

Everything you want in a blender

I have been on the hunt for a great blender and initially used this product for a cocktail night and was not disappointed. The powerful blades crush up ice with no issues and I ended up with the smoothest consistency. I love the Matte black design and how easy it is to keep to clean. There are two speed settings as well as a pulse setting so it suits various recipes. It could have a longer cord but other than that I’m very happy about this product.

Glass jar but everything else plastic

I bought the blender a few weeks ago and only used it once. The jar didn’t seem to fit into the base so I moved it around and the soup I was blending poured out. It’s made of different parts for easy cleaning which I didn’t realise. Once I’d cleaned up it blended the soup v well.

Great design Matte Black

I bought this 4 months ago. The bottom of the jug has a stand base, which means it can sit in the sink to get rinsed without water reaching the mechanism. That is a great feature. Then it goes in the washing machine. The lid fits snugly. It cleans up well with little effort. Ours gets used a lot. Great that it comes with a food processor, for low price. Yes its noisier than the Vitamix I had, but its only on for such a short time, its worth it. I recommend.

Great for margaritas!

I really wanted a good blender for cocktails. I had a really old one which didn't mix properly and this is beyond expectations. Made frozen margaritas and mango daiquiris. Always had issues previously with blending the ice but this does it quickly and easily. Definitely recommend for anyone in the market for a blender.

Outstanding Blender

Needed to replace my 5 Speed Breville Blender. Hadn't ever bought Russell Hobbs before so was a bit apprehensive. Only the first day, but this blender has already exceeded all my expectations. Used it for: Fruit smoothie, veggie smoothie, cooked veggies blended into a chicken broth for veggie soup. The results far exceeded anything I got with the Breville. With the Breville fruit & veg did not blend to a smooth liquid. With this device there are no bits of fruit & veg. It's a proper smoothie! Even better than a Nutribullet I had prior to the Breville.

Smoothie, Cocktail, Mockatail anyone?

It's great, so quick and effortless blending up my favourite frozen fruit for smoothies. Crushes ice perfectly for a nice addition to a tasty beverage. Solid jug, easy to clean. Goes well with my other appliances :)

Super Smoothie Machine

I bought this two weeks ago and it has been used every single morning to make our breakfast on the go smoothies. The strong blades have easily crushed and blended large chunks of frozen fruit with ease. The safety of the non slip mat is always a bonus in the kitchen and best of all it is very easy to clean. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend ever busy family to buy one.

Unusable

We purchased this blender a few weeks ago, and from the first use it leaked uncontrollably. Looking at other review sites, this seems to be a common problem. Russell Hobbs need to fix this - we will never buy one of their products again.
