I have had bench ovens in the past and I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this. Once we started using the product we found that it was replacing other appliances in our kitchen eg. air fryer, sandwich press, main oven. Instructions were easy to follow and we love that there are so many different options - we’ve been using it several times a day. Cleaning the unit was also super easy and stubborn grease easily came off with a cloth. I can’t recommend this highly enough!

The oven is small and lightweight and easy to use. It works perfectly and cooks the food quickly and evenly. The oven heats up immediately and has 8 different functions. The pizza and air fryer function is the best. The food comes out crispy and hot. The oven is a good size and can cook quite a bit of food. The bagel and toast section is also quick and easy to use and cooks the bread and bagels evenly. I haven't tried the bake or dehydrate features yet but I assume the bake would work well as the other cooking features work perfectly. I can't see myself using the dehydrate feature but you never know what could happen in the future. The self clean feature is great and takes out all the hard work of cleaning. I had heard a lot of hype about air fryers, but I can't say I'm convinced. This worked great as an oven and grill, not so much as an air fryer. We cooked nuggets, chips, pies, crumbed fish, lasagna, muffins, roast cauli, and quiche with varying results. Good: quiet to run, easy to use, heats up quickly, good variety of trays and pans come included, bakes things really well. Was ok to clean, not 100% convinced the steam clean option does much. Works great for small batches of food. Bad: takes up a huge amount of bench space and needs room around it due to getting hot. The spare trays don't fit underneath so you have to find space elsewhere to store, and we found that when air frying any splatter creates a burnt oil smell with the next use. There are many reasons why we enjoy using this Russell Hobbs Oven. It's spacious without a large footprint, versatile and easy to operate. The really impressive bit - quiet as a mouse! Plus the steam-cleaning function is out of this world! We've since tried air-fry chips, chicken wings, toasting and dehydrating, many more recipes to discover.
I was so excited to be a part of this exciting trial. I used it on the first day as an air fryer. I didn’t feel it crisped up the food enough (maybe it was the potatoes I was using) so I tried it again with mini kievs. Once again, it cooked well but not crispy enough. I used it to make a pizza on the pizza setting. That worked quite well. What I didn’t like was the off spray from the minimum amount of oil on the wedges baked onto the bottom tray and I couldn’t get it off. I’m disappointed that you can’t put foil down underneath it to solve this problem. The other trays cleaned easily. I love the fact that it can do many cooking options though and will continue trying different things and different settings. Thankyou for allowing me to be part of this trial.
