A good number of years ago I bought my first blender, a cheap and cheerful Asda product priced very reasonably, but a couple of weeks back it decided that the time had come to end its existence in my kitchen when I was blending my latest concoction. So having been pleased with the excellent service that I had received I happily went back to Asda to buy a replacement, sadly, the same as everything does they had increased in price, even worse they had none of the model that I wanted, they were totally sold out, they had some more on order, but the assistant I spoke to told me that if I used Asda direct to order it that I probably have it to collect from my local Asda within two to three days.On the website when ordering I saw that they had a similar model that was ... MoreA good number of years ago I bought my first blender, a cheap and cheerful Asda product priced very reasonably, but a couple of weeks back it decided that the time had come to end its existence in my kitchen when I was blending my latest concoction. This is a replacement for a different make but it's so much better than my old one. I love the fact that it separates into two parts for easy cleaning and the 2 speeds are also really useful. It is compact for easy storage, but powerful, great for blending soups. Really glad I chose it over the cheaper type I had before. Only one thing, there was no instruction leaflet or guarantee certificate included, which is strange, otherwise, very pleased with my purchase.

This does the job perfectly! It has 2 speed settings, I tend to alternate between the two.Easy to follow instructions and easy to use.An easy appliance to store because it splits into two halves. Easy to clean without the worry of the power cable getting wet.Used for making soup, it was perfect!

I bought this handheld blender to liquidise soups in the pan which it does but leaves lumps with celeriac and carrots for instance. I tried with a healthy kale soup but it left gritty bits of green so I had to disguise the fact with a tin of tomatoes! The warning from others about white plastic getting stained with veg juice is true so make sure you wash the business end up quickly after use! The business end is a bit stiff to get onto the motor part which would not suit arthritic hands. Generally, a good deal for the price :-)
We were looking for a stand-alone piece of kitchen kit to whisk up hot chocolate specifically, so didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. This blender scores on all points. It's very reasonably priced, an attractive piece of kit with a contemporary design. It assembles quickly and easily and does exactly what it is supposed to.We've also used it for blending stuff down into soups and it works a treat. We'd have no hesitation in recommending it.
Great product. Well-priced, powerful and works just as it should with no lumps or mess (wanted mainly for blending home-made soup), prompt delivery to store and easy collection. Well done!
I bought a cheap £5 one of these from curry’s and it doesn’t fully purée food. So when this came up in the sale yes it was triple the price but it does the job it says it’s going to do. It’s easy to assemble and dissemble. It also easy to wash. I don’t have a dish washer so unsure if it’s compatible. But I would say it is easier to clean manually than in a dishwasher.Sometimes buying cheap doesn’t pay off. You buy the name you pay for quality.
I bought this hand held blender as a christmas present for my mum last year, and it is perfect. It’s exactly what she wanted and she uses it all the time! It’s light, easy to use, and looks professional and good quality - it’s worth the price! We have made countless soups and smoothies with this blender, and each time they have ended up wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to someone else!
Good light blender. Easy to clean and reasonable amount of power. Good if you're in a hurry and can't make time for the 'clean up' when using a traditional bowl type blender. At the time of purchase, Asda (George) was the cheapest available.
Been using this for over a week.... comes in two parts and easy to clean. I have been putting them back in the covers supplied. Found this tool so handy with the left overs from sunday lunch as blended it to make soup. Moved on to making tomato soup and again found this a handy tool for blending them as long as you remember to cut things up and press the top button (slow).... otherwise its the fast button and a bit of a mess i can tell you. Have also raided the fridge for fruit that would have gone in bin and blended to make a smoothie..tip use a teaspoon of honey in mix. Now waiting for the broken biscuits to be left as will use in next smoothie.... what can I say but really loving this Russell Hobbs Hand Blender and so easy to use.
