If you love your car, why not spend $4 more on a better designed filter.I still service every 10,000kms but why risk your wheels over something as in significant as a cup of coffee.Always use the best you can when it comes to servicing something you rely on.It relies on you to give it the best you can.Im not saying the normal model is rubbish but ey, we are talking chump change here not hundreds of dollars.

Have only used this filter when servicing myself. Dealer used AC Delco but every 6months. Car wasn't running as well as it has been this past year and a half since servicing myself.I'm not sure the difference is between this model and the standard Ryco besides media used to filter, does feel much different. But I've had no issues with leakes or clogging.Love that it brings the o ring.

My VZ Commodore wagon is running very smoothly. The high flow filters work extremely well.
Catches a great deal of gunk, you cant underestimate the benefit of a high quality oil filter
First time i have used this more exspensive filter. Hopefully catches more contaminants than the usual standard oil filter i normally purchase(wont find out until next oil change)
Pro's: An extra level of filtration. Should last longer than paper elements. Con's: More expensive than normal paper filters.

Premium oil filter, and you can tell. Filter material has uniform and high quality feel. Get the most from long oil interval changes on modern vehicles
