Has great suction and the dust bag is huge so it lasts a lot longer than a regular vac.I've used it to suck up a variety of items from dust, sand, wood, sticks, metal pieces, dog hair, glass, bits of brick and rock along with quiet a few different liquids (although always make sure you wash out the hose before using on dry items again)Hooked it up to an extraction head and hose and worked an absolute treat for cleaning some carpets!The hose is super long too so I cover more space without having to drag the machine around my workshop.The accessories are great too. Just what you need really.Highly recommend this vac.

why did it take me this long to get me a wet dry Vac? Cause I'm stupid that's why. This tool is exceptional. The design, easy to use, powerful and the additions of the self clean filter and power socket is clever. enough accessories added. would thoroughly recommend for the handy man

Great unit with good power. The soft start is a welcome feature. Great length on power cord and hose make it quite versatile in the workshop. Shame the dust extraction is only 1000W. Not sure the manual mentions it, but most of the accessories will fit on the circular cutouts above each of the castors!

Great for dust collection but I found the hose a little too inflexible.. When I connected to my cordless planer the hose caused me issues when trying to plane a 2.4m fence post. Apart form the hose issue the vacuum works wonderfully well. I would recommend it for wet/dry and workshop use but not with hand tools with dust collection ports. I also use the blow function as an air source when using my laser engraver. The vacuum is performing dust collection on my cnc router while I use the blow outlet to provide air to my laser head.... Best of both worlds and much quieter than a compressor :)
So glad I bought this new model. Plenty of power, easy to manoeuvre and not noisy.Been looking for a while now for a decent commercial-style vacuum. No issues, easy to setup and it just works. Simples.
If your working with power tools inside, sandi g, cutting, whatever then this vac is awesome. Plenty of power, HEPA filter, and good size. Unless you need M class filtration or above your laughing with this one.
Not as much sucking pressure that I hoped for. The vacuum head is tiny and useless. Other than that it works well and strong construction
Feature to turn on when plugged in tool is turned on is very handy, works well when attached to my orbital sander. Haven't tried the wet function but dry has performed as I expected
Purchased a few weeks ago to replace a Gerni Vac that I had for 5years and I could not be happier with my new Ryobi, I love the adjustable power setting, it’s easy to move around and packs up nice and neat. I do wish the head and hose were made a little better..!
So far I have used this to clean up the garage and it works well. I do like the Min/Max dial which adjusts the suction level. Also seems quieter than the older models.The only issue so far is getting spare dust bags. The dust bag that came with the unit is quite large and fills the drum. I have looked at the replacement Powerfit 20L and 30L bags sold by Bunnings and these are quite a bit smaller.
