The tool will abruptly stop,even the LED light will fail if the voltage drops. The same "discharged" battery will still operate other,less demanding tools.2. Push the tool at 90 degrees to the work surface. Not even slightly off. And completely depress the nose.

I'm a trim contractor of 35 years and I have both the 18 gauge and 23 gauge Ryobi cordless nailers and they work excellent, so naturally I bought the 15 gauge and it won't sink the nails at all, even in MDF moulding. I've adjusted the depth, removed the rubber nose piece and even used my huge 9amp battery and 100% of the time the nail is left protruding at least 1/8". I switched to Milwaukee and won't buy another Ryobi product.

I bought the same 1 year ago with same results. At the time I returned that on there were at least 70 reviews with the same problem. Thought after a year the problem would have been resolved. Naahh - why would you do that. Fool me once.......

This pneumatic finish nail gun is fantastic! I wanted to get a nail gun for a few projects around the house, and it has already come in handy more times than expected. I looked at all of Ryobis options for brad and finish nailers and it seemed a clear choice - you could buy the brad nailers for small jobs, but the use might be limited. You could drop a decent chunk of change for the 16 gauge straight finish nailer, but even that could be limited by the magazine being straight up and down, limiting the angle and use of the tool. But for a little more you could buy the 15 gauge angled finish nailer and have the least amount of limitations. The gun is pretty quiet when discharging nails, the clean-out access for jams is simple, and the dual function adjust for depth is great. You can adjust the depth of drive for your nails with the air pressure gauge on the back, or make finer adjustments with the roll wheel at the front. The tool must take DA style 15 gauge nails, so be sure you look for nails that have both 15GA and DA on the packaging, otherwise you could be frustrated. There is another style of nail, FN which is a different angle and isnt compatible with this gun. Youre able to use anywhere from 1 to 2.5 nails - what a great tool.
Nailer works for the most part. If you release button on single-action before nail is driven, it will cause a misfire, attempt again and two nails comes. Need to be cognizant to wait until full nailing action completes. Multi-shot works perfectly. One very annoying issue with nailer is that it cannot stand on its own with battery installed. The nail magazine is longer than the unit which causing me to lay the unit on its side if I am not wearing my belt. Other than that, I love the nail gun.
Came in original factory sealed box in great shape. Have only used it for a few things so far but very impressed with this nail gun. Easy to understand how it works with adjustments, loading nails as well as being able to handle it easily. The price at Walmart was great and shipping was free! Great product and deal!
The Ryobi P330 One+ 18v Cordless Airstrike 15 Gauge Nailer is one powerful unit. It nails as fast as any pneumatic nailer. It is easy to load and operate. I have not had a problem with nails not be driven in far enough. Setting the nail depth is also easy to do. I have not had a problem with nails getting hung up either. I seriously cannot think of anything bad to say about this tool. Although I have a lot of the yellow colored cordless tools, I am expanding my Ryobi line. I have the Ryobi cordless stapler that I can say is every bit as good as the nailer.

The nailer tends to be much quieter indoor than using the air nailer as there are no hoses to run through the house or compressors blaring in you ears. The nailers only problem so far has been with the brads I am using. They tend not to separate as they should and jam in the head of the unit sometimes. The Ryobi batteries tend to hold up pretty well, especially the big ones, but set on high settings for mdf and the like it can drain pretty fast if using intensely. Overall I am pleased with the unit. Right out of the box, this drove 2 1/2" 15 ga nails completely flush with the guage set at midway. There is a brief lag between pulling the trigger and driving the nail, but it's not a big deal. Perhaps if were using this professionally for big jobs, that might matter, but whatever delays are from the lag time, have to be less than the time spent handling a compressor. As others have noted, it's heavy but for the typical DIY project, that shouldn't be an issue. Also, consider the flexibility provided by a cordless nailer vs being tethered to an air hose and compressor. I used the nails that came with the nailer and Porter-Cable nails and had to deal with more jams than expected. I repeated this process about a dozen times (removing and reloading the nails every few times); it actually fired and drove in two nails during all the attempts.I exchanged the gun for a new one at Home Depot and repeated the test. This time, the gun actually fired on the first attempt! But wait - no nail came out. The LED went out, and I had to remove and re-install the battery in order to get it to light again.
