I have a lot - and I mean a lot - of Ryobi tools. This is one that I am not that happy with. The on/off switch is hard to slide to the on or the off position ( I mounted my unit on the wall so it would be nice if the switch was smooth and easy to slide or if it was a push button). The collet that was installed on the flex shaft handpiece basically seized after one day and I can't tighten of loosen it - I substituted the other collet that came with the unit and so far it is fine. Like some others have mentioned, the flex shaft is kind of short especially if you mount the unit. Other than that it's Ok but I have a few other rotary tools (Dremel, King, Foredom) and I have to place this one at the bottom of my list of preferred units.
