Amazing Unit and Great Value for Money

I bought this only a week ago from Bunnings here in Perth for $129. I used it to clean the entire underneath of the outside pergola. I had a Karcher before which stopped working. This is more powerful and the spray lance is longer which I found very useful.I also used the other attachment to clean the cars and found it easy to use and did the job well.It is very powerful too and much better value for money than the Karcher and comes with a 4 year warranty.I purchased the longer 8m stell reinforced hose with rubber coating for $39.90 making it a perfect unit. The extra length is helpful and the hose won't kink.

Bad product design

Starting from the instruction manual,1. Setup guide does not have proper instructions to assemble the machine.2. No instructions about how to use soap water.Bad product design,1. Pressure hose reel is completely use less and it does not stay in the product picture. You cannot roll the hose while it's connected to the machine. When I use for 1st time I kept half of the hose in the reel and hose touches the edge of the machine and it damaged the hose.2. Power code holders is failed to holds it after rolling it.3. Pressure hose length is not enough to wash around a small car. I have to move machine to each side.4. Pressure hose is not flexible.5. Part connectors are not solid. It looks like this product is designed by a group of school kids.

I would have liked more pressure to clean my pavement faster with wider spray but extra cost was not worth it. This unit is good value compared to the alternatives. Bought this unit to replace previous similar Ryobi. Unfortunately the hose failed on the old one and couldn't get a replacement hose. Think it was the best choice for value and reasonable power.

Great sprayer/washer

This pressure washer does everything I needed. Foam washes the car and caravan, and then change pressure to blast the suds and dirt away. Only downside is the slight lack of pressure when using suds option. Overall a great product.

Great washer
20 April 2019

I just bought it yesterday from Bunnings $129, what a bargain. I am not sure what is the difference between 140G and 140SC, but this one comes with few extra kits compared to 140G model so it sounds a better choice.I wanted to see how it works, so washed my car. It is really great at work except I found 5m hose is short and I had to walk the machine around. Pressure is pretty good and adjustable at the nozzle. I didn't have a foam nozzle at the time so couln't try but the soap tank works fine for soapy water spray. Just have to set it on low pressure setting at nozzle for soapy water. So far for first use it turned pretty good.I think the manual should have little more information how to operate the machine, like starting, maintenance and extra kits. Great washer, useless hose storage
6 December 2020

Excellent, powerful unit that cleans decks easily and perfect for the car. Came with a great assortment of attachments. However, the hose reel is so useless. The hose isn’t mounted to the unit, and you can’t use it to unwind as you go. The entire hose has to be disconnected from the unit and spray head and then manually rapped to put away. If you name the hose through the middle section, it horrible kinks the hose, would not recommend doing that.Good washer, good price - just be weary if you’re buying it for the hose loop / barrel for storage

Not fantastic but does the job

I've owned this unit for 2 years and mainly use it to clean my patio and driveway. The good:The unit is easy enough to put together and the lance has ample pressure to clean my pavers which green up each winter with moss and dirt. The adjustable pressure on the spray nozzle makes it handy for cleaning areas such as paintwork where you don't want too much pressure. The pull along handle makes it easy to take the unit where I need it.The bad:The rotary surface cleaner is basically useless as it just leaves a circular pattern and does not effectively clean the pavement. I've used this on multiple surface types including concrete slabs and paving. The hose reel is a waste of time. The hose is not soft or bendy enough to be rolled onto holder and simply uncoils ... MoreI've owned this unit for 2 years and mainly use it to clean my patio and driveway. I wanted to clean the moss on my driveway and around the house. The pressure washer I have at home didnt have the patio cleaner. It took hours & hours to clean with the lance so I decided to buy something that has a patio cleaner to clean the rest of the house. After some research I bought this Ryobi for $129 last month from Bunnings. It keeps coming off after rolling the hose to it and I feel like the hose will break.- didn't feel the jet blaster much of a use.Overall, I would recommend this product.

It has some extra functionality, which I didn't particularly want and probably won't use. Detergent dispenser, deck cleaner and extra wand. What remains is a really good value pressure washer. I have three massive decks, and was thinking 2000psi wouldn't be enough. It's plenty.I read some poor reviews about the 2200psi model. Not sure if they have been fixed on this model (poor hose, poor hose winder, inlets too low, brittle materials), but they a really aren't an issue.I've previously had lower power cheaper washers, and also hired mega-units. All things considered, this has worked better.Instructions are poor / incomplete.

Useless hose reel - works well otherwise
1 October 2020

Had to clean the deck for the first time, so brought this based on comparable pressure ratings for price, the accessories and the hose reel (to keep things neat). The hose reel is virtually useless. Was pretty disappointed in it as for me it was a main selling point compared to the other pressure washers. You need to unwind the whole hose each time to use as the connection isn't liked to the barrel of the reel, doesn't neatly wind the hose, you need to jam it in the centre slot somehow to grip to wind the hose on (which severely kinks the hose at the connection). The instruction were poor on this too.The unit itself works well enough. Enough pressure to clean off the grime with two or thress passes with some time and effort and finessing of the required pressure ... MoreHad to clean the deck for the first time, so brought this based on comparable pressure ratings for price, the accessories and the hose reel (to keep things neat). The hose reel is virtually useless. The surface cleaner worked (recommending applying a deck cleaner first to loosen up the grime).Did a small section on the front driveway (aggregate concrete) and it clearly cleaned the dirt of between the stones. It'll do for now. Does the job, but wasn't wowed on the value or if it's durable enough.Would like the chance to use other brands to actually compare performance.
