Bought a Ryobi cordless to replace my AEG one which was 30 years old! So far am impressed with the power and speeds. Useful additions would be an LED light on the top of the drill - great though the one is on the grip - when drilling in a confined space the top light would be an advantage. Also a couple more clips for 'driver bits' would be useful. Oh - and a 'Hard plasic' case would be preferable to the ' canvas' bag. Otherwise I am happy with the drills ( I bought 2)!!

Basic drill, reasonably lightweight. Powerful enough for domesic use though does strain a little if used for bigger tasks.

Replacement drill for old model. Worked exactly as needed. Great unit
Great product, not sure what others have experienced but when you use full boar bits (metal and masonry) this can drill holes through any surface.I have drilled multiple holes into 55mpa concrete, steel fence posts, heavy duty hinges - no issues whatsoever! Highly recommend. Spend the extra money on your bits and this drill won’t disappoint you.
Bought this to drill holes into house bricks. I paired it with the sutton tools masonary bits and it worked very well.If I was doing more intensive tasks I would have spruked for a better drill but this one is a great price for this simple job.
I bought this drill about 7 no the ago. It’s been on pretty light duty for most of the time, drilling pilot holes into 1.6mm sheet metal. Recently started using it on some 4mm RHS, gearbox blew. If you want to use it occasionally in ‘light duty’ usage, it might suit you. If you want it to be a reliable all-round drill, look elsewhere. Also the chuck is useless.
Like some others who have reviewed this, mine also developed a bad clicking sound when slowing down. Overall it lacked power and didn't perform for simple masonry tasks. You're better off with the 1500w Ozito hammer drill for an extra $15.
Bought this 6 mts ago, hardly used, bit stuck in chuck, won't budge, tried all YouTube hacks but no luck, should have got cheapie with keyed chuck
I bought this as Ryobi is a well known brand and i only needed to use it for hobby woodwork. The first job i needed was to cut some disks using a hole saw i have used previously with ease. The first attempt sounded funny as if the hammer was in use. I then double checked i was using it according to user guide. Second attempt the hammer sound was not their and it worked fine on same settings. Third attempt the hammer sound returned and the drill whipped against me and then the keyless chuck let go of the hole saw sending it flying across the garage. I will not use it again on a safety reason. Wood was 19mm thick Pine clamped to a work bench.
