Turn your RYOBI Scarifier into a Dethatcher with the RYOBI Dethatcher attachment. This can be swapped out with the scarifying attachment in your OSF1835BL or R36XSCF10 RYOBI Scarifier. The Dethatcher’s long tines spin and grab top layers of thatch (dead grass), which are then collected in the debris catcher. During the dethatching process, this attachment removes the top layer of thatch on the lawn. This process promotes healthy lawn growth by enabling water and nutrients to reach grass roots. Because dethatching is less intensive than scarifying, it can be done multiple times a year to help maintain healthy lawn growth.
