I'm not certain why I am being hounded for a review, is it just me or are businesses incredibly needy of late? Hey, it works as advertised, means less little bits of plastic strewn through the garden. Easy to pop on / off.

Just used this. It's absolutely garbage. The loop on the blades can't handle any stress, so if you accidentally hit something hard or any plant thicker than 0.5mm they're just going break instantly and fly off to never be seen again. I went through the 3 pair of included blades in under 5 minutes.

Good product, used it to edge nature strip and did not have any issues with the blades despite probably occasionally nudging onto to the concrete. It would absolutely chew through grass compared to the single line It beefs up the associated whipper snipper into more capable unit. Not sure what other reviewers have been doingbut no solid blade is going to cope with being jammed into rock or concrete, but the blades are replacable and the head is well priced.

Do not buy. I tried it as I thought against trusting the reviews but to my idiocy, I shouldn’t have. All 6 blades gone within 10 minutes of use. Plastic and not useful at all. Such a shame Ryobi produce such a cheap useless item.
Works better than I thought. Just take of the Line Head and clip the Blade head in. Blades wore evenly and it cut through Thistles & Fleabane without missing a beat. Just put the 2nd set of blades on.
These came with my love trimmer and only just tested them out today and was very happy with them. I had a section on weeds in my orchard that had gotten up to 2 feet tall and this made short work of them. I did have a blade fall off when I got something a bit big but I could see it so put it back on and kept going.
Have a lot of Ryobi tools and used for many years. This product should be taken off the market. Broke the plastic arms in literally 30 seconds after gently clipping the edge of the lawn. Product is fine if just grass, absolutely useless for edging of hitting anything remotely solid. Ryobi need to bring out a more heavy duty plastic teeth/mechanism.
Waste of money. They blades flew off midway never to be found again.Disappointing as I loved the old fixed blades that would last ages.These blades are soft and nowhere near as good.
Wish I read the reviews before I bought this and wasted my money. Blades wore out within 10 minutes. A very expensive option to the line.Good idea but design not executed with any real thought.
No idea how others who have broken these so quickly have done so unless they literally used it to try cut a tree or hit fences/brick/the ground. If used properly to cut heavy vegetation, it will last you forever, after a full year of use I finally broke a blade... and even then, it still works with just the 1 on it so i finished up the rest of my job before bothering to change the blade.
