Bought this to rebuild the front end of my car. Worked a treat. No skinned knuckles, no rounded off or broken bolts. Freed all those mud encrusted bolts no problem. Fast and easy on the wrist and hands. Should have bought one years ago.

Brought this tool over 3 years ago. I'm an Automotive technician and this thing gets a hiding everyday. Has no problems what so ever getting off wheel nuts etc, and 70 percent of axle nuts. Using a 5.0ah battery and above. Can definately tell when battery charge is getting low, notcieble drop on power. Will definately be getting another when this one's kicked the bucket. It has however always has a burning smell from new but has never been an issue

Asked the Bunnings employee a couple of months back for an impact driver that would take off wheel nuts.I was recommended this driver.Took the driver home and it can’t take off regular barely torqued bolts let alone wheel nuts.IF YOU WANT THIS FOR AUTOMATIVE PURPOSES DO NOT BUY!I would’ve paid the extra $100-$150 to get the best ryobi impact if I was suggested it.Stupid me didn’t even think to just return it.

I brought this impact wrench 2 years ago as it was a a decent torque range for price for an Apprentice vehicle technician and I've always had good use with other Ryobi tools. This tool has lasted me nearly 2 years of use everyday doing wheel nut up easily to 110Nm, other bolts have gone higher and easily undo wheel nuts that where over 120Nm +. With the 2.5 Ahr batteries it only lasted a day or so but once i got the 4 Ahr batteries its great, nearly a week on a charge. Only recently the brushed motor has worn to the point that torque is no longer achieved, but i still got the receipt and it still under the warranty period. So pretty happy with it. Could only be better with a brushless motor i think.
I've found the impact wrench to be an excellent tool that works extremely well and has lived up to my expectations. It has assisted me with the setting up of my caravan for drop down legs and pegs. It is also handy when i need to change a wheel on both my vehicle and caravan.
A great balance between price and performance. It’s important to ensure breakout and makeup torque is going to be enough. For me this hits the sweet spot, with more grunt available than I require. When used with a torque stick (Ryobi should sell these) you’re able to ensure that nuts are tightened to the right torque (eg 110 for my 4x4 110 FFR🦎).I’ve used it a few times now, and am also happy I’ve a 6 year warranty, which I’m sure I won’t need due to Ryobi’s quality.
I'm Loving my new impact wrench (rattle gun) and kicking myslef for not getting it earlier.. It makes removing & replacing wheel nuts and all bolts/nuts so much easier & quicker. The 3 speeds gives you the option that you need to for the job! Very powerful tool! The led lights are also a great feature. Plus i can now add to my Ryobi One + Collection of tools. Very Impressed Ryobi & the Bunnings click and collect was quite efficient too!
The weight of the thing was the first clue that this might be able to do what I needed. With three speeds and the weakest torque of the bunch I was hoping I got the right one. The moment I started driving coach screws into hardwood I knew that it would do what I needed. The tool drove them in effortlessly to the point I was afraid it was going in too fast.
I decided to change a wheel on my trailer, it was impossible to get off, no matter what I tried. Because I had seen my neighbor using his Ryobi impact wrench I decided to buy one. What a great tool, the wheel nut came off in a flash. If you have to change a tyre it is the only way.
The right tool for the job. No more stuck bolts, no more skinned knuckles from slipping spanners. I wish I ad bought one of these years ago. It feels solid in your hands and the Ryobi livery looks great.
