I used it once and before finishing it clogged up and wouldn't spray. I did attempt to run plain water through it and used compression to try to blow out the nozzles. Nothing helped. I called Ryobi and was referred to a vendor 15 miles away that has a contract with Ryobi to service their broken tools, and they told me they have a 4 - 8 week backlog. Must be a lot of crappy Ryobi tools out there. I'm not happy.

This product met all of my needs assisting me mainly in cleaning my floors . The ability to vary the mist is a big advantage depending on the job you are performing.Other than being a little heavy with the smallest battery it was a worthwhile tradeoff to hand spraying.A top mounted carry handle would help balance the weight of the sprayer, receptacle, and battery.A handle on top would also allow a level receptacle at all times preventing loss of suction with a surplus of content remaining requiring a recepticle refill .Holding the sprayer level in order to continue to access the lower portion of the recepticle is possible but not as easy as would be with a handle mounted on top of the sprayer as in the more expensive Ryobi spraying unit. The unit is versatile and ... MoreThis product met all of my needs assisting me mainly in cleaning my floors . I have had a professional cleaning business for 35 years. With the outbreak of COVID-19 I tried to purchase electrostatic sprayers through my supplier but none had been available for months. Fortunately I own a lot of Ryobi tools and I checked Home Depot and there they were. How can you go wrong! Used them quite a few times now and does the trick. If you are treating COVID don't just spray disinfectant. You need to clean surfaces with cleaner/disinfectant and microfiber cloths. Then use your Ryobi electrostatic sprayer with disinfectant.

I really enjoyed using this electrostatic sprayer on many things and using many different chemicals to do with. The only real issue I have with the sprayers that it tends the leak as your spraying, especially when you have the electrostatic mode on at the tip. It does drip a couple times every once in a while. Other than that heavy stores.

It was ok. From the origional asking price, I expected something much better. But for 35 bucks I guess it was ok... any more $ than that would be a rip off. Some customers wrote about the unit not working right out of the box. It's nearly perfect, coming in at a price that under cuts everyone else, while also upholding a level of quality which the likes of the most expensive options (zogics) can't even come close to. The only thing I'd say could be improved is the vessel itself. As it is easy to lose prime once half way through and beyond. One must be certain to keep the gun level, or you'll be re priming often. This can of course be avoided by adding / mixing additional cleaner on the fly, and by taking care to keep it level as mentioned. But a simple redesign of the siphon system itself could eliminate this entirely. That said, it's hardly an issue... And I wish I could rate it a 4.75... As that's what I feel it truly deserves... Manufacturer Warranty - here I come
11 July 2022

Bought this sprayer, I didnt think it sprayed very well for what I was expecting but I did like being able to spray withit. I think I used it about five times and the sixth time it wouldnt prime at all, pump runs, no prime. I tried some things other buyers did to get it to prime and nothing. Im one week outside of the 90 day return policy so make sure you register it if you buy it because theres a good chance youll have to go through contacting Ryobi. I have multiple other Ryobi products and this is the first one to ever have issues. As someone who works with a lot of tools, some manufacturers are good at some tools and fail at others. This is not one I would recommend, maybe their other sprayer works better.

Not Bad…Not Great
13 October 2022

I bought this unit to deodorize in a damp basement and crawlspace. The unit itself is OK, but I’m glad I bought the larger tank. The biggest issue is once the product gets low, the unit will not spray without continually priming and holding at specific angles. I think Ryobi must’ve figured this out, because there is a newer model available. I would avoid this one and go for it. I still use this one to deodorize and disinfect around the house and it works fine where not as much product is needed.

Thought it doesn't work but found the trick
2 January 2022

Initial impression was that it did not work. Sometimes it would spray for a few seconds and then stop, and other times it would simply drip and drip and never managed to produce a mist. After some trial and error found the problem - it was not getting air quickly enough into the tank to replace the water being pulled out. The solution was simple - keep the cap on the tank loose, not tight. Now the spray works great and produces consistent and continuous mist from all three nozzles every time. Would definitely recommend for disinfecting bathrooms and restrooms in the house.

Worked good when it was working.
30 November 2023

The electrostatic worked maybe several months and it wasn’t used daily. This happened to both of mine now it only good for bookends. First one was in 2020 than that lasted maybe a year. My second one was I believe 2022 and it stopped within 4 or 5 months. So disappointed.
