Previously, I used a small compressor which I had to plug into the car cigarette lighter outlet, but it was awkward to use, slow and quite old. Sometimes, I had no alternative but to go to a service station to check and inflate them.The Ryobi Pump is so convenient for me to use, as I can take my time, due to my bad arthritis. It is very light and comfortable to hold, with the battery connected, and you just need to press the trigger.I also use it to check tyre pressures on bicycles and blow up balls for our grand children.

I decided to start a purchasing cycle for my son and my son in law from the start of their home maintenance jobs. It's become apparent to me very quickly that I can buy cost effective tools for both boys without batteries as the batteries were purchased in the first tool package.Christmas and birthdays are now very easy to buy for them. The Massive range that Ryobi have recently produced is incredible, I know the boys will thank me for years to come.

Just grab it, add battery and there is no restricted movement or extra connections and it is so light and comfortable to hold. Just slap in a battery and press the trigger. I used it as soon as I got home as I didn't think something this small and compact would inflate my truck tyres. But it does it easily and fairly quickly considering it's small size. We pumped up the pool toys over the Christmas break and also the volley ball. So easy simple and quick. So glad I purchased it.

This is a great tool. so convenient for pumping up tyres on cars and my garden equipment like the ride on mower, trolley, mulcher and wheel barrow. It pumped up my car tyre in no time at all and the digital display is so handy.Its size makes it the ideal tool to carry in the car or the caravan. No need to lug around a larger compressor and being one of the Ryobi One tools I have the battery is so interchangable with all the other tools. So I can go away in my caravan with the tools I need and limited batteries.I love this little inflator, as I do my Ryobi One tool collection
Haven’t had it long and only used a few times. Bought to make life easier doing my car tyre pressures. The clamp (air chuck) at the end of the air hose that attaches to the valve is of pretty poor quality and I hope it stands up to use. It also doesn’t make an instant seal and is awkward to attach/detach on my wheels without it leaking air before pushing and it leaks air when releasing the lever. Maybe a car valve attachment that you could just push on and hold it in place with your hand rather than having to push the clamp down would be a good idea. I have a hand held push on air chuck on my tyre pressure gauge and it is very easy to make the seal on the valve when putting it on and doesn’t leak air when removing it. Otherwise it is very handy and a good purchase.
It does what it says it would. Inflated most thing with little effort ( sports balls, pool floaties, bicycle tyres, trolleys). With the car tyres - worked ok for 4 sedan tyres, although the nozzle and the hose was heating up after 4 tyres. For a mid-large suv, it was struggling above the 40 psi mark. It was taking too long and the hose kept heating up. Tried changing to a fully charged battery with same result. Nevertheless it served its purpose for what I was looking for, so I’m happy.

Successfully topped up car tyres and inflated bike tyres from flat - all I need to do really. Not sure how it would cope with inflating a car tyre from flat but my guess is it would probably get there eventually.As people say it is noisy (but not as noisy as some) and the plastic clip that holds the connector on the valve is a tad flimsy - careful positioning of connector while you do the clip up will probably prolong it's life. No need to buy separate chargers or batteries.We even use it to check tyre pressures on our bicycles, blow up balls for our grand children.Recommend for all caravaners and Motorhome users to check tyres and adjust tyre air pressures in one easy operation. For smaller inflation needs, it's fantastic. Top ups, motorcycles, mowers, balls. I grab this over the retractable airline every time, just too easy.Top ups in cars are fine, but I'd stop short of a complete refill of a flat etc.Makes a racket and the trigger is pretty sensitive (I also got one for my mum... Makes her just every time she accidentally bumps the trigger), but I really like it, even after my first one got pretty noisy after anything longer than 30sec worth of inflation.
I purchased the Ryobi 18V ONE+ Digital Pressure Inflator to replace a very old, large and extremely heavy and cumbersome air compressor. It has exceeded my expectations 10 fold! Being totally portable means I can quickly, easily and regularly check the tyres on our two motor vehicles and box trailer without having to drag the old 240v compressor from the garage to the shed!
