A great little Hammer Drill. It surpasses all my expectations and the power is great. The only fault if any is the key-less chuck which can burn your hand if you use the drill to tighten the chuck. The surface of the chuck and the power of the drill are a formidable combination. That said however, once you realise and learn you simply apply less power and all is good.

I would recommend this drill to any competent DIYer as the drill is always charged enough for those round the house spur of the moment drill and screw tasks. it is also powerful enough to take on larger home and garden projects. This drill and a Christmas jigsaw are replacements for an old Ryobi NiCad drill now powered by Lithium batteries and an even older corded jigsaw. The smooth operation and power of the brushless machinery are a pleasure to use.

I Didnt really need the drill as i have the bigger powerful metal chuck premium ryobi one drill, But to buy this package with a drill, battery and a charger, was cheaper than buying the 4amp battery on its own. virtually It saved $5 and I got a free drill and charger. Lol, Not sure why buying a battery on its own costs more than this entire drill package with the same battery included. apparently the skin on its own with no battery is $159 ahaha. So im rating this as a package on price, its a cheaper way to get a 4amp battery lol, the drill seems ok, will keep it for small light duty jobs. But you would be a sucker to buy the 4amp battery or skin on its own when this kit is cheaper.

Compact, powerful drill/driver and great value in the kit with the 4Ah battery. Fits in tight spaces, plenty of power and a bright work light to see what you’re doing. A lot more compact than my old brushed motor Ryobi drill. Locking chuck holds bits securely. Two speed settings with torque control and hammer mode cover all jobs around the house.
Excellent compact drill. Great speed and torque. I find this drill is doing the jobs required much easier than my other, 3 year old, Ryobi cordless drill (which is still going strong). I used to work full time as a cabinet maker and I find these Ryobi One + tools are far better than the other drills drill I had that cost 4x the price. Also the drill and battery combo was amazing value. Highly recommended 👍
Needed something with a bit more oomfh as my regular drill wouldnt get through mason brick. Nipped down to Bunnings and picked this up at a great price and got the job done super quick. Just what i needed. Not as powerful as a certain red brand starting with M but for the price difference was more than happy with my purchase.
I bought this today and it does a great job. Used a Diablo 3mm masonry bit into brick and took about 5 seconds to drill all the way in per hole. Doing much better than my old blue ryobi drill.I got this as I got sick of pulling out the SDS drill for small holes in brick and to my surprise it does really well. I was about buy the the normal skin hammer drill but this comes with a 4AH battery for the same price essentially making the drill free!
What a great package, needed new drill to attach car wax pads and it didn’t disappoint.Next challenge use in garden with Garden corkscrew to turn soil and dig holes to plant new shrubs,So adding this drill to my other RYOBI gear was a no brainer especially at the package pricing!So if in doubt get your RYOBI out as I do
I am a novice, but I owned an old drill that was slowly losing its power. I came into the store to ask if it was worth the extra money to get a Brushless drill over the "Brushed" version and it was a resounding, Yes. The difference was night and day.My only criticism is that I wish the bag had separate compartments for the drill, the batteries and the charger, so instead they just kinda flop around in the bag. Also, there is nowere to store the screwdriver bit, so it stays in the chuck. The whole kit was not really thought out very well.Overall, it was a huge jump going from the old Blue Ryobi drills using the NiCad batteries, to the new Lithium set. Awesome drill so much power. Love the 4.0 Ah battery last a good time also nice and light on the drill. They wat to tighten the chuck is so easy, so one thought this through. Price for this kit is great cheaper than the skin only drill, I switch the battery from my drill to my Lantern and Secetures So very happy with my purchase Thank you Ryobi for user friendly tools
