This blower replaced a corded Ryobi blower that I had had for 7 years. Love the portability (no more cords to get snagged on obstacles) and the variable power option, handy for blowing in tight spaces. Power is good on high to do larger jobs. Does chew through the power on top setting (get 15 minutes using a 5mah battery). Overall, I recommend this tool.

I've always wanted to be able to blow leaves around like a superhero, and now with the ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Garden Blower Tool, I finally can! This thing is powerful enough to make me feel like I'm controlling a mini tornado, and the variable speed control lets me adjust it to just the right level of chaos.Plus, since it's part of the Ryobi ONE+ System, I can use it with any of the other 260 tools in the lineup [1]. It's like having my own personal army of power tools! And don't even get me started on the battery indicator. It's like a little digital pet that I get to take care of - I can't wait to see how long it takes for it to run out of juice. Will it be 15 minutes? 20 minutes? The suspense is killing me!Overall, I'd say this garden blower tool is the ... Great leaf blower, plenty of power on it highest setting, can move small rocks and pebbles, fairly quite on its lower settings. I like the amount of speed settings you can choose from, fairly lightweight. A 6ah or more battery is best to get a decent runtime. Great for cleaning up after mowing or clearing the driveway of leaves.

I would never have thought that there would be a battery blower that was, as far as I am concerned made for women. It’s so light to carry and the battery is very easy to connect and take off. I like the different speeds at just the press of a button and because of the attachment it means when I blow our patio to clear 3 GSDs fur, it doesn’t go everywhere. So, if you want me to be your chief tester for any new product I am happy to oblige LOL. Definitely 10 out of 10.
Received this for Christmas and have been very happy with its performance so far. I haven't owned a blower before however what I love about this unit is its easy variable power adjustment depending on the situation, sometimes you just dont want full blow just want to move the debris gently away from an area. The unit itself is very light, my 6 year old girl can use it. It gives the appearance that it might be too small and not enough power however is perfect for the outdoor yard area, paths. I will use this one heaps
I was very surprised at the power delivered by this blower. Tip though, unless your application needs it, don't use the little tip attachment, takes away the power of the unit. We have about 300lm of driveway in a heavily treed (gums) area. I nearly get the entire drive done on the included 6ah battery. I'm comparing to a Stihl petrol and I am very impressed with the Ryobi.
Plenty of power for a little unit. I've never been a fan of battery powered tools. They were always a bit under powered for me but a recent shoulder injury prevents me from using petrol tools now. So I was looking for a battery blower and thought i'd have to buy an expensive high end unit to do the job. I haven't used a battery blower in years and the ones I did use just didn't cut the mustard. They could barley move small grass let alone small twigs. On a visit to see family I used the Ryobi $119 OBL1820S. I was quite impressed. It won't blow your socks off but it gets the job done. I decided to go for the brushless version for that little bit more power. It sucks the battery but that's to be expected. But if you have other Ryobi tools then you probably have ... I decided to go for the brushless version for that little bit more power. It sucks the battery but that's to be expected. But if you have other Ryobi tools then you probably have another battery or more. This one won't handle large twigs but it will get medium stuff and small pebbles ect which is all I need. It wouldn't suit a professional but then Ryobi isn't marketed at the pro. More for DIY home guys like me and it certainly performs enough for me. I am not disappointed. And 6 year warranty on the unit is great. The OBL1820S is probably good enough for most home users but if you've got a tiny bit more coin to step up to the R18XBLW30 then i'd recommend it. It's easy to put together out of the box, you won't need instructions as it's straight forward. It's very light and not to noisy, a lot less noisy then a petrol one.
Having used another non-brushless Ryobi Blower for sometime, I thought I’d try the newer Brushless version and I’m glad I did. The Whisper feature works extremely well and is noticeable at all power levels. One of the stand out features is the adjustable power setting, it allows me to turn down the flow of air in order to blow leaves and debris from pebbled and landscaped areas without disturbing the features. Highly recommended.
Great blower. Good levels of control. 5Ah Battery lasted a long time. Did front yard including footpath and entire backyard. Around pool. Still plenty of charge left in battery. Easy to use to increase and decrease the volume of air that is pushed around. Great machine, have to fight my wife to who will use it.
I recently upgraded to this Brushless model due to a sudden failure of my Ryobi non-brushless blower. I was told this brushless model is much powerful than the one I had, however, after actual usage it only performed slightly better or unnoticeable increments. It is also not Wisper quite. Given that it is $130 more than my previous Ryobi blower, I expected much better performance than this. Hopefully the Brushless means it will remain functional for longer years rather than premature failure.
