I already have one of these in my home shop but I needed one in another location away from home.This will fill my need very well. As usual, Ryobi tools have always filled my needs for hobby and maintenance needs. I have a large selection of shop tools as well as yard tools and have been very happy with all of them.

Best value tools

I love my impact driver and use every day. Fell in love with ryobi as their range is reliable and powerful enough for me. Im buying more as they are not expensive but as good as the expensuve brands. Also have a circular saw, grinder and drill. Awesome products when renovating my home. Just need extra battery so im not swaping out all the time.

Great driver - lots of power.

Works really well and make putting together treated pine sleeper steps and garden edging very quick. Lots of power with the 5amp hour battery. Worked all weekend on a single charge.

Great product

Purchased 18v blower and was very happy so then brought two drills one hammer and one impact. Mate had a 36v brush cutter so I have purchased one of those and an so happy that I’m about to purchase 36v mower so a couple of extra batteries for my drills and blower would be awesome

Great tool for handyman jobs

Very handy tool. Light and versatile. Save battery power too. Had used to install two IKEA beds and 20 cupboard handles without dropping a box on battery indicator on my 2.5h 18v One+ Li battery.

My first Impact Driver.. wow !

My first impact driver, obtained as part of the "free tool" offer with batteries (initially for a bug zapper).Tried it out on some metal drywall studs that were wedged into the wall my cheap Ikea drill had no hope of ever shifting and barely put in there in the first place.They came out so quickly I was actively shocked.For my extremely light uses I ordered a basic set of impact rated drill bits, and I think this will be both my drill (with great care) and my driver.

Outstanding tool

Bought this tool as part of a very low price package about ten years ago. Four major renos later (plus a few major drops) it has not missed a beat the entire time. This is my favorite tool ever. I never take on any project without it. Great balance of control and power. You will never regret buying this tool!

Powerful Impact Driver

The Ryobi impact driver (RID18) was just what I needed to do a job on my car. It is very powerful and easy to use. I would really recommend this tool. The tool doesn't come with a battery, that's OK because I already have other Ryobi tools.

I`m a retired builder finally doing my lap around Oz as a grey nomad. I spent 4 decades on the tools as a tradie and spent many dollars on electric tools over the years. So when it came to choosing reliable value for money tools to go tavelling with for running repairs, Ryobi stood out from the rest. In my latter years as a Builder, I started accumulating a number of Ryobi 18V One cordless tools in my kit and found it so easy to swap from one to the other sharing the same battery. I found it easy to and economical to purchase "skin only" tools from my local Ryobi distributer, which had an enormous range of Ryobi "skin only" tools to choose from and great back up service. Worked great till it didn't.

Got this driver as part of package deal last July (2022) Worked like a champ till it didn't. something broke. motor runs but no impact. Home Depot says a three-year warranty. I'll take back soon for a replacement. I own many Ryobi tools and am very satisfied. I will get another.
