Ryobi One+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill (Tool Only) PBLHM101B

I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to shopping, but this shop makes me happy when I buy, it's a great success of this shop.It's not a coincidence that I praise this shop though. What is it that is both of good quality and at a very cheap price.

Great drill/driver!

Brushless strong, long-lasting motor with unusually good chuck; it's going to replace my 15yo Ryobi 1/2" drill which I'll pass down to one of my kids. Compact enough to be my go to drill/driver.

It hammers it drills it needs no cord.

I really don't know if 4 or 5, but it is so cool to have a solid battery operated hammer drill. Ryobi is not the best choice if you are working in the trades all day, which I used to, but they totally kill it for the price at my homeowner, occasional outside job level. I have only had this one for a short time, but drilling 1.5" holes, check, drilling into cinder block, check, drilling into the dirt to find my septic tank, check.

Much more powerful than I was expecting

I got this hammer drill as an upgrade to my older Ryobi One+ drill/driver that I still really like, but has limitations in masonry and with larger holes in lumber. This PBLHM101 is very powerful. I've pushed 1" spade bits through 2x4's like butter and a few 2"+ holes for door hardware didn't even make it blink. Dropping a few small anchors into old brick to tidy up a hose hanger was also simple. If you need a new drill to do regular drill/driver tasks and you also ned to occasionally drill into masonry or do larger bore hole cutting, do yourself a favor and look at this drill as an option. The handle is also FAR better than the old version - stronger with a more secure attachment and believe me, your wrists will appreciate the handle. Can't beat the value and for my application powering my ice auger, alongside a 6amp, it has been excellent. Not the performance of the top brands but the value is equal or better depending on application.
