This is such a great tool to have on hand, if your tire is low all you need to do is connect to your tire and inflate, that simple. Its cordless so no need to hassle with finding a plug in. You do need to purchase the battery separately so keep that in mind when purchasing. It took approximately 3 minutes to pump up a truck tire. It has a digital display that shows the pressure. It comes with a couple other attachments for purposes other than a tire. I highly recommend this cordless air compressor.

This is the tool I use most during summer. I pack this in my beach bag to inflate floats and tubes so quick and easy. I carry this in my backpack on long bike trail rides and have had to use it twice already for low pressure in hot months. It is lightweight even with the battery attached. There is a clip that holds all the various size nozzles needed for any job. I love this thing!

This tool is a no-brainer. Go get one. I am lucky enough to have an air compressor in the shop. But when I need to fill, a tire it is a half hour project. Disconnect the hose, add another section, go look for the tire adapter and a pressure gage. When you are finished go through the proceed in reverse. For under $50 I can grab pump and a battery. Fill the tire and put the pump back. It is just way too easy.

Good, practical tool with some flaws

Pump speed is roughly as fast as I am with a good bicycle pump, but it doesn't tire out after doing 1 tire LOL~ On a full charge with a 2Ah battery, it seems capable of inflating ~100 to 120 psi' worth of tires. That is to say, the 2Ah battery can pump up 7 to 8 tires, with each of them increasing the tire pressure by ~15 psi.The braided hose has a nicely made quality to it, but it is a bit short. The back half of the hose that is closest to the pump gets very hot after the pump is in use for a while. The plastic as well as the rubber on the grip feels a bit cheap, but should be pretty durable. The pump is quite loud when it is in use.My biggest gripe with the pump is how grossly inaccurate the psi reading is on the digital gauge. The psi reading I get from it while the pump is pumping is off the mark by 10 - 15 psi. When it is no longer pumping, it is still off by 5 - 10 psi. (This is measured against my calibrated racing tire pressure gauge, plus 2 cheapo stick type tire pressure gauge.) But despite the inaccuracy, the precision of the reading is still sufficiently good. That is to say, if the onboard digital gauge told me I've pumped up the tire from 25 psi to 35 psi, I have really pumped up the tire by approximately 10 psi, although the actual tire pressure of the tire would not be anywhere close to 35 psi.

Great pump but gauge not accurate
12 February 2023

The pump is amazing but the new digital gauge isn’t accurate at all. I exchanged my first one thinking there was an issue with it but the second measures the exact same. I have to fill tires to 42psi on the digital gauge, which actually gets them to 35psi.Seems like all the previous reviews for an accurate gauge were for the last version of the product with an analog gauge. Hopefully this issue can be fixed.

Keeping My Hands Folded

I bought this as a Black Friday purchase, in preparation for trips. Typically, I've been pleased with our Ryobi tools.Last year when I went to a Praise & Worship Conference, our tires badly needed air. I went to 3 different gas stations trying to use their coin-operated pumps, but all 3 were frozen up. Praise God, a customer had a 12 V inflator in his truck that he lent us. It was very cold and windy, so I was thankful to be able to inflate the tires while I sat in our car.The compressor within this Ryobi inflator is quite small. The day it arrived I used it to top off the air in the tires on each of our cars. Each tire only needed 2-4 additional pounds of air. The day it arrived I used it to top off the air in the tires on each of our cars. Each tire only needed 2-4 additional pounds of air. I was a bit disappointed with how long it took to inflate our tires. If our tires needed more air, then I would likely have needed to wait at least once after pumping a tire for 5 minutes before being able to continue pumping. As the instructions say online, you'll need to hold the trigger the entire time that you are adding air. While adding air, I was disappointed to see that after 1-2 minutes of pumping, the screen would suddenly show "188.8" for about 5 seconds each time before returning to showing the pressure of air being added. This consistently occurred when I added air to each tire of each car, and more than once on some tires. The only reasons that I'm considering keeping this inflator are: 1) I already have the batteries, 2) most of our Ryobi products work fairly well, and 3) the price was reasonable ($26.59 after tax).At this point, we haven't had this product long enough to determine whether I would recommend it to a friend. If the inflator does prove to be reliable, then I'll edit my review later if possible.I do pray that it will prove to be a good investment.

This is my second one. The first one started getting VERY noisy. It finally started smoking & plastic parts came out of the ventilation ports. I think it was within the warranty, but I couldn't find the information. Hopefully, this second one is better. I'll KEEP the warranty information now! Fills up a car tire pretty quickly. The battery supplied never ran out of juice. I have purchased a second, bigger battery as a backup.

Super handy, and nice form factor.
14 January 2023

I have been using this item for over a year now, and it has been very handy. Like any compressor, it makes some noise, but that is to be expected. For quickly filling things in the yard, like bike tires and wagon tires, it works like a dream. The battery usage is fine, and the digital readout is very nice. It can top up your vehicle tires as well, but don't expect that process to be quick. As an emergency tool in your back seat, it is perfectly adequate (as long as you have a charged battery along). The tool does get warm with extended use, but nothing alarming.Once I had this tool in my garage, I found myself using my large shop compressor a lot less. It even comes with adapters for bike tires and sports balls. A very affordable item for everyday use.

Surprising Inflation Speed For Such A Small Device
28 September 2023

Purchased 2023-09-28 and used the same day to top tires up to specs on 2 vehicles and a motorcycle.Excellent light duty device with a good fill rate for a small air compressor As mentioned in another post, there is some air loss when uncoupling the air hose coupler from the valve stem. Not an issue if you shut down just one psi above the targeted air pressure. I have a good quality tire gauge (which I know is accurate) and calibrated this against the digital air pressure gauge on the ryobi inflator. The digital pressure gauge is within a tolerable limits in terms of accuracy. Any overage I bleed off and recheck with the manual tire gauge. Takes another 30 secs per tire before the valve stem caps go back on. Longer range will earn a 5 star if it proves to remain durable over the life of the warranty. Time will tell.

Very convenient

Bought this digital high pressure pump to replace my original ryobi pump. My older one lasted a long time inflating kids bike tires, pool toys, vehicle tires, and even balloons. I was happy with how long my original lasted, so I didnt hesitate to buy this updated version after mine started failing (after 8years, first the hose disconnected internally, I was able to crimp it back on, then the hose blew a hole in it, so I cut the hole out and reconnected a the shorter hose.) But the it finally started acting up after filling up/topping off a couple rv times 80 psi. I think I overheated it, still works, just not as good.
