First use was on the wheel nuts of our Nissan Dualis, The breakaway torque worked on them so easy and the Mode 4 'AutoStop' was perfect for tightening the wheel nuts up again. Undoing and torque tensioning 5 wheel nuts took 3-4 minutes. Great time saver and GREAT power range. This test was done using a fully charged 2.0AH battery and it still showed 'full charge' after the exercise. I would recommend this product for any handy person to use.

Picked this up for my automotive needs, Absolute goldmine, Check out torque test channel for the review of the bigger high torque version but this is nipping at its heels and cheaper. Make sure to pick up the 9AH one+ HP battery with the current boost to pick up an extra 150-200nm of torque. thats insane. This thing with the 9AH broke seized ring gear bolts on a diff which was insane. So happy bunnings has pushed ryobi to make better products and now that the high torque with the 9ah was beating the makita and nipping at the heals of the Milwaukee high torque its just a stellar deal! Pick one up guys and make sure to pick up the 9ah if you need it or make sure your battery has the current booster pickups!

I bought this product form Bunnings warehouse the other day, because I needed a new one. My old was was starting to smell. I saw this brushless one in store so I decided to grab it. When I got home I couldn’t believe how much grunt it had. The price was right for this product and I will be highly recommend this product to my friends.

1 month in at a light mechnical workshop. Yet to find a bolt it wont crack on 4x4 and commercial vehicles. Amazing bang for buck and the led lights are something i didnt know i needed, now wouldnt be without them. Coming from 15 years with air tools, doing home jobs is now super quick and easy. No need for the compressor anymore!

The breaker bar was really straining and the close proximity of brake and sensor lines meant any slippage could make for an expensive day. A mid torque impact wrench was what I needed to deliver the required high torque in a confined space. My first thoughts were definitely milwaukee, bosch or makita. Youtube comparisons of torque output and real world results gave me a huge surprise to see this ryobi that I had never heard of,punching up against , and bettering some of the big names. The tool very easily removed the rusty strut bolts and hardly raised a sweat doing it. After undoing and reinstatement all four struts and the lug nuts on four wheels the battery was still ... I've been holding back buying one of these for quite a while. Lashed out with some birthday money and so glad I did! Walked out from work the following Friday to see my tyre as flat as a pancake!Grabbed my brand new Ryobi Impact Wrench and taught that wheel a lesson. The Job was made easy and quick with the Ryobi torque doing all the hard yards. I was on the road in no time.
I'm very happy with this Impact Wrench, it' got a solid, quality feel to it.I tested it out in the car park of Bunnings, loosened all the wheel nuts on the 4WD.Took it home, played a bit with the settings, did all 4 caravan wheel nuts as well, checked with a torque wrench, and I'm ready & set to keep this one for life.I thought expensive, and you may too, however much cheaper than a Milwalke and I'd say almost as good, so if you are after a real Impact Wrench with power to spare, get this one !!Cheers, Ted
I’ve always struggled with motorcycle counter sprocket nuts. Tried a cheap air impact driver that could not do the job. A breaker bar that might do it with an extension but that feels way too harsh. I just bought this Ryobi impact driver and gave it a go. 27mm impact socket and the driver set to auto. Easy!! This thing is not cheap but I’m rapt.
I looked at other impact torque wrenches and came to the conclusion that this Ryobi was every bit as good as the well known brands. In some ways better given the higher torque settings. I already own other Ryobi tools so I am able to use an existing 5ah battery. Also the 6 year warranty sells itself. I am very happy with its performance and ease of use.
I recently had to change a wheel on my caravan that was difficult to undo using my old fashioned wheel brace. The solution for next time was to buy a brushless torque wrench. The reason I chose this particular model is that in Auto mode it delivers 120nm of torque when tightening the wheel nuts which is important as the maximum torque allowed is 131nm. So I use the auto mode to put the wheel nuts on and then use a torsion bar set to 131nm to fully tighten the nuts. This new torque impact wrench is a game changer.
