Absolutely amazing little power cleaner! I love the ease of use, and convenience of this Ryobi One+ 18-Volt 320 PSI Cordless Power Cleaner. I was able to connect all parts and clean the pool frame in no time at all. No chemicals, or bleach needed. No fear of damage due to a high powered power washer. Best of all the ease, and convenience of a hand-held battery operated cleaner. It cleaned the green algae off my aluminum pool frame with ease. It cleaned the black algae off the concrete lanai. The 15 degree setting made quick work of the algae removal. I have 20 x 20 stained pavers. They are surrounded by pea gravel. So, it is hard to clean them with a regular power washer. This cleaned them quickly and without throwing rocks all over. It didn't clean my 3 years of ... MoreAbsolutely amazing little power cleaner! It didn't clean my 3 years of dirt, and growth(?) on my vinyl fence. But, I think once I get it cleaned off with regular maintenance this will keep it clean. Part of not doing regular maintenance was the hassle with the other cleaning methods. This is so quick to set up and go, regular maintenance will be easy now. When working overhead I did get splash back. While I got wet the battery remained dry. The battery latch is easy to open, and close. Just like a Mason Jar clip latch. We plan on using this to clean the car. We will use a bucket full of soap and wash the car down. Then we will rinse with fresh water. For us it will be easier than pulling the hose out. There is a filter to screw on in place of the garden hose. This protects the car, etc. when pulling water from a bucket, lake, etc.. There is a lock-out button to keep from turning on accidently. My only cons are no auto lock on the trigger to keep it on. No handle on the top, and no additional, or longer extension wands. I have arthritis so it was a strain on my hands holding the trigger down. The handle would help ease the strain on my back when holding it in a downward position cleaning the lanai, and pavers. It only weighs 8#. But, the handle on top would make it easier to use for longer periods of time on bigger projects. The longer extension would enable me to reach higher places with no need of a ladder. And not having to bend over as far for lower cleaning projects, I'm 5'5". As is, this is powerful enough to make my life around the house, and yard easier. It is a keeper. If they upgrade it with a trigger lock, handle on top, and a longer extension wand I will gladly purchase that one too. Great Job Ryobi, Thank You!

I've recently been parking my new-ish car on a very muddy jobsite and have needed to do frequent car washes. I purchased this as a way of escaping the annoyance of needing to drag a hose around the car. This washer is very fast for car washing, and is very efficient on water usage if you're using it properly. You can ditch the garden hose entirely, and just walk around with a 5 gallon bucket in one hand, and the power washer in the other, using the included siphon. For my car wash setup I have this power cleaner, a 5 gallon bucket of mildy soapy water to feed the power washer, and 1 gallon bucket for clean water + wash mitt, and an industrial spray bottle with 25% car soap to 75% water mixture. I give the car a quick rinse with the power washer, then spray it down ... MoreI've recently been parking my new-ish car on a very muddy jobsite and have needed to do frequent car washes. Above all, using this is like having a cordless hose, you can walk around with the 5 gallon bucket in your hand and get easy spraying access to all sides of your car.

I bought this for the convenience of the battery as opposed to an electric model where you are pulling around an electric cord plus the garden hose. Very disappointed with the poor pressure. 320 PSI is way less than my old electric model. Pressure was less than my garden hose with a nozzle attached. Also the weight of the battery on the gun is tiresome / problematic if you are using for any length of time. Needless to say, I have returned it and gone back to electric. Home depot staff were totally understanding.

Bought this several days ago and I am surprised by the power it gives. There are pros and cons to the unit and I will do my best to list them:Pros:- although it says this is only 320psi, it feels more than that. I had a full size electrical powered 1600psi pressure washer that I hope this will replace. I think this one can. it does not feel like giving me only 1/5 of the pressure so I like it.- portability - the other reason why i wanted to buy this and replace with the old unit is portability. It does the job. From now on, I only need to worry about water supply hose, not the electrical wire!- the syphon hose - this is a surprise for me. I did not expect I'll be using it but I did only 3 days after I bought it. I used it to suck water out of a inflatable ... MoreBought this several days ago and I am surprised by the power it gives. It does the job. From now on, I only need to worry about water supply hose, not the electrical wire!- the syphon hose - this is a surprise for me. I did not expect I'll be using it but I did only 3 days after I bought it. I used it to suck water out of a inflatable pool that i set up for my kids. After they are done, instead of just dumping the water into the lawn, I actually connected the hose to pull water and used it to wash patio furniture! It only draws at an advertised 0.8gpm (which is very slow). But being able to reuse the water is a plus!- the connector that came with this unit is actually Gardena quick-connect compatible. I was able to hook up the spray gun via the Gardena connector that i had on my water hose. This makes it that much more convenient for me. I did not know this until I used it myself. Perhaps Ryobi cannot widely publish this info? I will be using the gardena metal connector instead of the Ryobi one that ship with this unit.Cons:- ergonomics. I find this a common theme across most Ryobi tools. This one is no exception. The hand grip is a tad on the thick side. I am a 6' male with average size grip. With the wide hand grip, it makes me tired using the tool for a long period of time. In order for water to spray, you must hold the trigger. I wish they had a lock or an override button/mechanism to keep the trigger 'on' until i deactivate it.- weight. This is something i will need to get used to. Coming from a spray gun that comes out of the standalone electrical powered unit, I find this extremely heavy. Particularly on the 3-in-1 nozzle. It is good to have the 3 spray pattern at the end and it has hefty clicking mechanism to keep the position, it added lots of weight to the tube. With the nozzle about 2.5-3' away from the grip away, add the lever effect, the weight of the unit is amplified. I would have preferred to have 3 different wands for each of the 3 patterns to save weight. In addition, if the grip wasn't so big, i can have a more comfortable grip and will be able to adapt to the weight better.- unnecessarily large battery compartment. I know why there needs to be a water tight battery compartment, but i do not understand why the cannot trim the sides of that compartment down by at least 0.25-0.5" off from each side. It makes the unit bulky and awkward to handle. This is a small complain, but one that could have been adopted easily (also to save material when manufacturing). The largest capacity battery I have in my household is the 4Ah one. There seems to be enough space to handle the 6Ah batt (doubt the 9Ah will fit height-wise).- there is a trigger-stop button/switch to prevent accidental trigger of the spray gun. I do not find this a useful feature, and as mentioned above, much prefer a switch/mechanism to keep the trigger in the 'on' position instead. It will save my hand muscle for long washes. All in all, I am very satisfied with the product. A 1.5Ah hour gave me about 20 minutes runtime. The 4Ah gives me sufficient time to make me tired before I have to put it down so I never really calculated the total runtime. The cons mentioned above was not so bad that I would return the products - just something to consider for future product updates.
I bought this cleaner to do some light power washing on my deck. I fist used the siphon method from a 5 gallon bucket and found I was not getting very much pressure. I then connected the hose garden to the quick connect piece that came with the cleaner and attached it to the unit. After a few minutes the quick connect sheared off making the unit useless. I contacted Ryobi after seeing some reviews with the same issue. Instead of being offered the replacement fix as noted is Ryobi's responses for what seems to be a faulty part, I was asked to take the broken item in to a service centre for assessment and repair if covered under warranty. Thanks but no thanks I'll just return this and save myself any future issues. Thanks for being so consistent in your customer ... MoreI bought this cleaner to do some light power washing on my deck. Let me start by saying I am a huge Ryobi fan. I still have 18V tools from over 23 years ago (the old blue drills and saws) and they still work perfectly with the much improved new batteries. I have a garage full of 18V and 40V tools and the new brushless series tools are hands down, the best value around (I also have / had Porter Cable and Milwaukee tools for experienced comparisons). However, this 18V power washer was a bit of a let down. My expectations were not high to begin with solely based on the 320 PSI and 0.8 GPM data but the apparent portability swayed me to try it, thinking it would be great at our cottage for the boat, dock and other equipment cleaning. It wasn't terrible but not much better than a good high pressure hose attachment. Still the ... MoreLet me start by saying I am a huge Ryobi fan. Still the portability of drawing water from a pail, lake or bottle would still make this a keeper as my hose would need to run over 150' to get it to my dock & boat. Here is the bad....the quick connect hose attachment is not strong enough when attaching a hose. Tested it at home, attached to a garden hose, the quick connect attachment broke within 10 minutes of use. The weight and pressure of a good hose with water pressure running through it is too much for the plastic attachment. The actual tool itself is on the heavier, unbalanced side, especially as you will need to hold the hose with one hand close to the attachment to relieve pressure to try keep it from breaking. I was able to test it with a full bottle of water which seemed to be great for a quick and very portable use but the pressure is nowhere near as strong as when it is attached to a garden hose feeding the unit with pressurized water!By no means will this stop me from buying more Ryobi products as they have certainly been excellent value throughout (I have over 40 Ryobi products). I would strongly suggest a 40V wheeled unit that can come close to most AC electric power washer specs. I absolutely love all of my current 40V tools. They have gas like performance and the batteries last!!!
Purchased this pressure washer, unit only as I am vast Ryobi tool owner. At $98, this little unit didn't let me down. To test it out, I tried it on a piece of heavy equipment, cleaning mud and rocks from the tracks. I cleaned it nicely. Well worth the purchase. In comparison, a co-worker purchased a competitor brand at 4x the price for only 1 GPM and 350 psi total.
great product. i use it for everything from cleaning my car to spraying weed killer on the lawn. one issue to be aware of. there is a black o ring right where the hose nozzle attaches to the power unit itself. i see no visible way this o ring is held in place and mine popped off twice. i put some glue where it seats and we'll see if it holds. the machine will not work without the o ring, other than that it's pretty handy.
mediocre tool... nozzle disconnected and took a dive into the lake when i was cleaning the boat so i got to use it about 1 day. Also, preasure is very weak. it can barelly can suck water from couple feet height. i normally like ryobi tools, i have lots of them, but this i would avoid.
This works well. It is 300 PSI so do not expect a ton of pressure like what you would get from an actual pressure washer. But I like it for small jobs as I can simply attach a hose to it and do smaller jobs in the area that don't require a lot of pressure, but more than just regular city water pressure (which is usually around 50PSI). The battery lasts longer than I would expect. Get several batteries so you can recharge one as needed while using another one. Looks brand new.
