The supplied plastic brush will only lift light dirt from the surface. Removing well established moss takes a lot of effort with this, which sort of defeats the object. Using a manual wire brush would be more effective. If only Ryobi made a wire brush attachment for this tool, that would transform it.

Really works as a patio cleaner with a suitable detergent. I would suggest getting the wooden head for the flagstones and the wire head for cleaning moss / dirt in between. You do need at least 2 batteries though if the patio is any reasonable size

The brush is great but the 2 anno how battery that cable with it is not powerful enough.It has a rubber skirt to protect you from splashed and this is not very effective. It seems to get caught in the brush and folded up so you get covered in dirt

Very pleased with the patio cleaner, usually a long tiring process on hands and knees,this has done the work efficiently in less than half the time.Not had an opportunity to use the scrubber yet,, if it's as effective as the cleaner,will be very happy

Excellent for moss removal, definitely needs wire brush for better performance, with Ryobi solution the night before to loosen it. I recommend 5 amp battery for small patio garden. And several 5 amp for medium, a couple of 12 amp batteries for large area coverage. Depending on how much moss you've got to remove. Always best to have more than less. Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍

Bought this with the alternative brush for using on my 10 year old artificial turf. I was a bit sceptical but I thought it was worth a try. So glad I did. the lawn now looks almost brand new. So easy and so quick to use. Would certainly recommend it. Haven't tried the patio brush so can't comment on that.

Great energy saver

I bought this a few weeks ago to use on Yorkshire stone patio. - I traditionally scrub this and it takes several hours to get the whole area clean and free of green lichenThe patio cleaner was much easier as I’m not on my hands and knees . Still needed to go over a few areas but removed most of itSo impressed I used it for moss on large tarmac drive and it really made a difference to that terrible job !So much less exhausting

Perfect! I have a large decking area that needs a good scrub at the end of each winter. This brush & battery combination was just what I needed. The item arrived quickly & as advertised by the seller. The only thing I could find that suggest the brush wasnt brand new was the internal cardboard packaging had been opened before. Apart from that everything was as new. For cleaning the decking I purchased the specific brush for the job, & used decking cleaner as advised.
