I had a hard time getting this blower as it was sold out everywhere but for a short time it appeared avail and I got one. One day later it was sold out again. I have tried it a few times and I can see why it is always sold out. It has great power, is easy to handle and is great on gas as it is run by a powerful battery. I can now see why it is always sold out. If you have a chance to get one of these don't hesitate as it will be gone again. Great machine and worth the money.

Seems pretty good for leaves. Might be a touch underpowered for snow but I see people that have certainly more expensive blowers struggle with the same snow so maybe it just depends on the temperature or something. For the price if you already have the battery it's a pretty decent unit. It goes for quite a while on a single charge even out in the snow. Has good balance and isn't too heavy.

I got this as part of the blower/trimmer combo as a Father’s Day gift in 2020. Initially, I was very happy with both and I agree it is “gas-like” power.I used the blower a few times this winter to blow snow off my deck. It worked great but I started to notice that the power would decrease intermittently (almost like dropping into a lower gear for a few seconds). This continued to progressively get more common. Now when I release the trigger, the tool stays on, at a very low speed. I have to take the battery off to stop it from running. My guess is a problem with the trigger.So overall, it is a great tool with lots of power, but maybe somewhat unreliable. It was a gift so I have no receipt which means no warranty, even though it is less than a year old.

The blower is not as strong as my old electric blower, in my opinion. The ease of cordless is great. It does a good job, not to heavy and balanced nicely. The blower does take a lot of juice from the battery and so it only lasts about 20 minutes of full on use. Overall I am happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking to go cordless.
Powerful in a somewhat narrow range. Probably does not work as well as the professional ones that push 250+ MPH, but very good for leaves, twigs, nuts, and other debris around the house. Works well in dry conditions, but not so well when the leaves and debris are wet. Waiting for good weather to see how long it will go on one charge. Same 40v battery works with other Ryobi 40v tools.
IMHO, the MPH of the air coming out of the nozzle is more significant than the CFM if you're trying to blow leaves off a driveway or porch. I previously had purchased and returned a 110 MPH 525 CFM blower and found that it could not do the job that this new one does. Thus far, very happy with this purchase
Have had this blower for about 2 months. Use it to clean up patio, sidewalk and driveway after trimming and mowing lawn (all on same battery BTW with about 30 minutes work). Blower is quite powerful and easy to use. I like the “throttle” switch so I can quickly adjust fan speed when trying to get debris to go in a certain direction. Surprisingly and delightfully quiet compared to neighbours insanely noisy gas powered blowers. My only critique is that this blower, at about 7 lbs with battery on board, gets a bit heavy after using for a while (cuz you are only holding it with one hand). I would definitely recommend over lots of other blowers available.
I had spent a lot of time researching various battery operated leaf blowers and settled on the Ryobi. Received the kit in two days from the vendor....great service. The first two times I used the product I was excited and impressed with its power and volume. The third time after about five minutes use, white, acrid smoke discharged from the trigger area near the handle. Not sure what happened but I have not used the blower since. I did not expect this blower to go belly up after only three uses.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my leaf blower!!! I am using it as a snow blower and it is just fantastic!! I don't have a huge area to cover, but I can get my area done and then still be able to help my neighbors with their front sidewalks (and cars) as well. Depends on the amount of snow. It works best if you go out a few times when there's not a huge pile up (of snow). Very easy to handle and comfortable to carry. Thank you to Home Depot Lethbridge for helping me find this! I would highly recommend this to everyone!!!
This is the most annoying leaf blower that I have every owned and used. The high pitched scream of the blower motor is horrid even with ear plugs. If you hate your neighbors and you are already deaf, this is the blower for you. To be fair, the blower has great power, especially with the turbo boost engaged, but the noise pollution that the machine generates, make it almost unusable.
