Fantastic little unit!!!! I went back and forth with so many different choices , both inexpensive and costly, and finally decided on this one with the "mindset" that I could always return it. This unit is just awesome for the money , and for my personal usage, and I am totally happy with the purchase. I even built a nice little cart for it with wheels and for its accessories. I did buy a 50' flexible hose ..a stubby gun and a foam cannon because I do a lot of car detail. Also bought the Ryobi pivot swivel attachment to help me get in all those hard to reach places with winter coming in New England...It's really all I needed for what I use it for and the turbo nozzle did an amazing job on some concrete I cleaned up! Not a super duty high volume professional unit ... MoreFantastic little unit!!!! Other units I looked at, and read reviews on, were lacking in that department which turned me off. I had a simple question about something and called Ryobi and they were right there with the answer for me with no long wait time even during this pandemic. Would buy again if I had to do it over....Really don't know how I went so long without a pressure washer as a car enthusiast and home owner !

The holder only holds two attachments on the side so you need to “store” the third on the handle.Overall very happy with my ryobi power washer but typical of the lower cost ryobi items/lines and the obvious lack of thought into the basics of design.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. To replace my ancient Karcher (15+ yrs old) - replacement parts would have cost nearly as much as the new Ryobi unit. Easy to operate - although no wheels just carry it to the location and there is plenty of hose for the wand and a lengthy extension cord for the power. The unit comes with three different nozzles: 1) Turbo, 2) 15%, 3) Soap1)The turbo was more than powerful to remove stain off the deck and clean the driveway. 2) 15% is perfect for washing windows and cars - some suggest that 40% would be better3) Soap nozzle with a plug in tube for container - where you can use liquid soap of your choice = certainly not a soap cannon - however it works.Plenty of power on the first two units. Difficult to attach/store both the power cord and the high pressure hose with the velcro strap.Long and short of it: I can't speak to longevity as I have only used it for a couple of hours so far and am quite satisfied.

Nice compact pressure washer with plenty of power. I needed to pressure wash concrete in my backyard for a party. The area which is equivalent to the size of about three 2-car driveways had never been pressure washed and it came out really clean and white! It powered off years of dirt and grime. It was time consuming but worth it. I tried the 12 inch wide round surface attachment, but it kept clogging and ended up using the nozzles that came with the washer. They were perfect for high pressure tough dirt and wider area to move the dirty water off the area. I recommend this 1800 psi washer. It can do almost anything a home owner would need and is very reasonably priced.
The RYOBI RY141820 is a compact portable pressure washer that is easy to carry and store. It is equipped with a detachable plastic 2-piece wand and 3 quick connect nozzles: turbo high pressure for tough cleaning (sidewalks, blasting weeds from sidewalk joints), medium pressure 15 degree fan-shaped stream for general purpose washing, and low pressure for applying detergent solution. Power cord has a ground fault circuit interrupter located at plug end for safety. Recommended water supply hose diameter is ¾ inch, but the popular 5/8 inch size is adequate if local water pressure is sufficient. The detergent tank is not detachable; it lacks a shut-off valve. After detergent solution is added, there is no convenient way to pour it out or switch back to plain water until ... MoreThe RYOBI RY141820 is a compact portable pressure washer that is easy to carry and store. The Ryobi electric pressure washer is pleasantly surprising. Do not confuse this with the current 1600 PSI model that looks relatively similar, they are not the same. This is a new model that seems to take the current 1800 PSI model and slim it down into a smaller package. The claim for 50% faster clean time is real. It cut my wash time by at least an hour, if not more. The larger the car or object you are washing, the more time it will cut. For me, it is a full-size truck.Washing:It has enough power to wash my car but not too much to damage the finish (it's 11 years old, so there is plenty of opportunities to mess with some of the paint). The nozzles are good, there are other choices out there for better angles, I did not find myself in need of anything beyond ... MoreThe Ryobi electric pressure washer is pleasantly surprising. For me, it is a full-size truck.Washing:It has enough power to wash my car but not too much to damage the finish (it's 11 years old, so there is plenty of opportunities to mess with some of the paint). The nozzles are good, there are other choices out there for better angles, I did not find myself in need of anything beyond what the machine came with. It pulls soap into a small hose on the side that slides into the top of the soap bottle. This is great and worked well. It did coat the truck in soap and was consistent enough for me to clean the truck off. They offer a foam blaster I plan to try. I used the hose to pull soap through the pressure washer, and it used about 3/4 of a cup in about ten minutes of use.It was able to get all of the dirt of my truck. It had a little difficulty getting brake dust off the wheels that had been on there for a while. I don't blame the machine, it was caked on; once I added the high-pressure nozzle on it powered through the majority of it.It was able to clean my driveway with ease. I had some oil spots, mold from the rain, and rubber tire streaks on the driveway. I was able to get some stains off my wood fence in the backyard, so overall, it is a powerful machine for its size.Machine:The hose is stiff, this is good for longevity; however, it makes it difficult to maneuver without it getting wound upon itself. Once I extended it all the way, getting out all the twists, it worked just fine and did not attempt to twist back up. It was easy to coil back up at the end of the job.The machine was drop tested from four feet (not on purpose), it passed with flying colors. It comes with everything needed and folds up into a small package when done. I have it sitting on a shelf in my garage with the wand hanging on the wall, it is not a space hog. I could attach the want to it by breaking it down into its two pieces, but I chose not to because I did not like it sticking off the shelf a few inches. The location the hose plugs into the back of the machine is metal with a plastic grip to attach the hose to. Every attachment point seems very strong and is made of metal, not cheap plastic.Without a doubt, this pressure washer is worth every penny. It is also something I do not mind adding accessories too to make it a little better. I have no issue spending a little more for a longer more flexible hose, I don't see the machine as a throwaway like some cheap models, I look at it as a starting point to only get better because it has all the power I need and is built well.I would highly recommend for someone in need of a small pressure washer to do simple tasks around the house. If you are limited space or just don't want to spend a ton of money on something you may only use once every other week, this is the machine for you. I have used it a few times now over 30 days and have been more impressed every time I use it.
The machine itself is great. Works like it’s supposed to and surprisingly powerful for its small size. But...the trigger wand completely broke after about 3 uses. It sprays continuously without pulling the trigger and I cannot describe how bad it leaks water down ur arm completely soaking the user from neck to foot. Very upsetting because I truly love the product. I got on the Ryobi website to look into replacing just the wand and though they do sell a replacement, when I read the many reviews for it I discovered that many many other customers actually were experiencing the EXACT same issue with there wands. The lady helping me immediately and without question took my info and placed an order to replace the broken handle free of charge which I’m grateful for but I still think it’s wrong for Ryobi to be selling a product knowingly with a defective part on it. I just ordered a different handle from a popular online store that I wont say the name of. I fully expect the new handle from Ryobi I to break after a few uses as well and I won’t want to wait another 10-14 days for a replacement handle like I will for this one.
Not my first pressure washer by any means but after buying multiple homes and moving over the years I’ve gone through a few. I initially was going to buy a more expensive unit by ryobi but decided I didn’t want to spend ~$400 tax in to clean things. So after hours of research and reading other reviews, I settled in this one since it was small, compact, and put out 1.2 GPM and 1800psi just like the rest. The turbo nozzle pushes more water out sure, but it’s in a circle pattern and I don’t find that particularly efficient. The straight narrow jet of water we all imagine and love to use (like self service car washes) is the 15 degree nozzle head. But like another reviewer said, the unit keeps throttling going on and off like it’s preserving water or something. But like another reviewer said, the unit keeps throttling going on and off like it’s preserving water or something. Change the nozzle tip to the turbo one, same positioning, and the unit works perfectly. So in closing, the flat jet of water km looking for comes from the 15 degree head which doesn’t work and is weaker, but the turbo head is stronger but the circular stream of water isn’t as good at removing things. Compared to some of the other ones I’ve owned, this thing is a joke. When stores open up again I’ll be returning this. If I can only use 1 head, I wouldn’t pay what I did, even on sale!
This Ryobi 1,800 psi 1.2 gpm Electric Pressure Washer’s best feature is two: 1) SIZE: Small and compact with all the features of a larger power washer including all the add-on accessories, and 2) POWER: The unit is powerful. DO NOT let the size fool you. This unit blasts the water easily at 1800 psi just like the big boys and delivers the water pressure punch you want. I was able to strip everything off anything I hit with the washer stream, dirt, mold, grime, slime and things I haven’t even identified. The unit comes complete with everything you need including 3 changeable heads, soap tube for soap buckets to load (car washing, etc.) power wand (that is tough but light enough for a grandmother to a 10 year old to handle) with a generous 20 ft. of hose and very generous cord with built in GFI. Extremely easy assembly (takes 4 minutes). Very nice-Very happy! 5*’s
This is a very impressive, compact pressure washer, without the gasoline and oil headaches. All you need is an outlet for the cord to plug into. This has the same connections and procedures that other pressure washers have, except this one is 120v. The power cord has a GFCI for your protection. This one takes up a lot less room and just easier to set up and use. It comes with three different nozzles, a 15 degree, a soap and a turbo. Using the soap is as easy as placing the supplied hose into the soap container and attaching the soap nozzle to the wand. This will clean most things around your house. This is great for cars, houses, campers and such. I have a gas powered that’s a lot stronger than this one and sometimes it’s needed, but it will wear you out. This one was a pleasure to use. It has just the right amount of pressure. The manual is easy to understand and complete. Keep it handy for future reference. The unit has a three year limited warranty from the manufacturer. Keep the supplied covers for the connections to keep those connections covered when not in use. I also picked up a tote to put everything into, to keep it clean and organized. I’m very impressed with what this unit will do. You’ll love it too.
