I am a maintenance engineer and used to power tools. Bought this for a project at home. Had been debating going with Makita as that is what I'm used to, but trusted reviews and opted for the Ryobi and I am so glad I did! Won't bore you with the details. Build quality is brilliant, incredibly solid and rugged. Even the basic batteries supplied last a while (used mine for 8 hours without charging) and the speed control on the trigger is incredibly responsive. Ditch the more expensive makes and go with Ryobi!

I had a ryobi drill for 24 years it just stop working this new drill looks much stronger here's to the next 25 years
I've only tested It for obvious reasons but not actually used it for a job yet but the build quality and fitment are excellent and having two batteries is a bonus, I would highly recommend it for anyone.
I have used Ryobi power tools for years and they are great quality and great value for their price and this kit is no exception and Im really pleased with it.
It has magical properties. As soon as it arrived my 25 year old dead cordless Makita, which it replaced, came back to life.
Powerful drill. Went through concrete like butter. Needs a bigger battery as these 1.5ah last no length of time under heavy loads. Other than that I'm very pleased with the item.
Bought to replace an old drill that had stopped working and my husband is extremely impressed with the replacement. The fact that it has two batteries is very useful in that one can be on charge whilst using the other. It is a decent piece of kit, well made and should last a good number of years. We would definitely recommend.
