This pen is my all time favorite pen. As a healthcare professional, we tend to all have a favorite one and like to keep several of them around. My bestie sometimes buys them for me because she knows I love them so much! They write beautifully with no missing ink like some gel pens do. When writing on paper these pens do not smear. When writing on other surfaces this pen may not be the best choice as it can smear on some surfaces. I always have one in my pocket at work, my purse, my work bag, and on my desk at home. You must try these! And they come in different colors too!

I love these pens! They have a substantial feel to them and are ergonomically designed to be slightly thicker and more comfortable to grip than a regular ball-point pen, especially if you have a lot of writing or note-taking to do. The pen works for two weeks at best and then begins to skip. It’s like the ball doesn’t roll properly. I’ve tried holding the ink in my hands to “warm it up” hoping it’ll fall down and get into the ball. Nope. Useless. I should have listened to the reviews I read. I tried to be optimistic since there are good reviews, unfortunately I do not like these pens so they’re a complete waste of money for me. I suggest to save your money and try another gel pen. Good try Sharpie…good try.

I bought these pens so I would be able to use them for note taking this upcoming fall. A friend recommended these to me as an alternative to the Pilot Gel pens. I much prefer I love these Sharpie Gel pens because they dry quickly and do not smear on traditional paper. The size is perfect for me, I like to write in smaller print. With these I can fit more notes on a page. My penmanship is not the greatest, so I do rest my hand on the page while I am writing, and I found that the pens do not smear when I brush my hand over it. Great pens!
The pen is comfortable to hold. I'm a lefty and the ink dries pretty fast so that is good. In terms of how smooth it feels when I write, I prefer how my uniball and Pentel feel a bit more. But this one is more comfortable than my uni signo and I had a Pentel energel explode so now I'm nervous to use them. The sharpie pen is nice and bold. It dries well. It smudges a bit when highlighted but that happens with all my pens. For me, it's not the smoothest pen to write with but it is pretty good.
Liked: wrote smoothly and clearly, reasonably comfortable to hold, ink looks nice (comparable to Pilot), slightly cheaper than my usual Pilot G2s Disliked: The ink barrel must be full of bubbles or something because it keeps skipping (sometimes it takes 2 or 3 minutes to get it working again). Took notes with this (brand-new!) pen during a meeting — missed important points while trying to get the pen to work again. I wanted to give it a fair shot so used another one of the pens in the pack for a full day — same experience. Conclusion: I’m trying to cut down on plastic waste so I left these on my enemy’s desk. A small moment of delight. I would recommend these for purposes of petty corporate sabotage/stocking stuffers for the wicked.
