Great looking and the different sized liners that are included allow for a custom fit. I knocked off one star because I have ginormous ears and the ear hole cutout on these are a bit too low for me. The helmet lands slightly on top of my ears so I have to jam the tops of my ears under the helmet or wear a helmet liner/skull cap to pin down my ears. It's not a deal breaker and I still wear the helmet every day for my bicycle commute.

I am such a fan of S1 helmets. I bought one that covered my ears for park skating, but now I'm playing roller derby and needed to be able to hear my teammates. Great quality helmets that get the job done!
I love the look of the helmet and I am glad I bought it. The ear holes are a little bit small for folks that have large ears so a slightly larger hole on the side would have been better for me. No big deal and the adjustable inner pads allowed me to get an otherwise perfect fit.

Yeah, yeah, safety first but it’s hard to choose between safety and looking amazing. With this helmet I get to have both! It looks amazing, even before customizing it with stickers and whatnot. I feel great about protecting my noggin while re-learning to roller-skate in middle age. I care too much about my livelihood and family to risk a head injury, and happy to have found a helmet I like putting on.
I live in LA and was able to stop by the warehouse to make sure I got exactly what my daughter wanted. Dan and the crew were super friendly and helpful. Such a great product! Its all about safety and d the kids are stoked to wear them! Can’t ask for anything more.
I recently joined a roller derby league and they highly recommended S1 for my helmet. After ordering mine I can see why! When the whole team has S1 it's a no brainer to choose them, and boy do they have the quality to back up their claims. It's comfortable, cute and can take a great beating.I especially appreciate the amount of information on the website about production and sizing. It made it really easy to choose my size and the fact all helmets come with different sizing liners has allowed me to experiment and make sure my helmet fits as well as possible.
