Beautiful linen

The hazelnut duvet is stunning in person. Nice weight, rich hue, and so soft. We have a couple of duvet covers from Bed Threads and won’t order from anywhere else. I had one issue with a sunny window fading an older Terracotta cover. I contacted the company to ask if I should consider a different color for that room. They immediately got back to me with helpful tips and a replacement cover. Their customer service is extraordinary. Can’t recommend this company enough.

I have been a long-time shopper with Bed Threads and am on a mission to slowly transition to a 100% linen home. The quality is exceptional. If you have never used linen sheets or as quilt covers, I urge you to give them a try. They wear beautifully and only get better with age. It's important to keep in mind that the darker colours will fade in direct sun, so dry them in a shaded spot. If you have a bed that gets direct sun, I'd opt for the lighter shades that Bed Threads have. I have sheets and covers that are still going after four years of use. Shipped swiftly and customer service always brilliant! There is NOTHING like getting into the bed on Sunday night - clean sheet day! It's a thing.

Beautiful, it's pink more than purple, but it's lovely.

The names for some colours can sometimes be a bit confusing. This sheet is more of a dusty pink than a purple (you would want lilac for that). That being said it has more of a blue tone than the pink clay. This colour compliments the olive so well. I love this colour in my duvet but I'm finding myself not loving simple blocks of colour anymore. I wish they would do this in a stripe!! A pink stripe would be to die for. I prefer this colour to the pink clay colour. It's a nicer pink. But go for lilac if you want purpleEither way it's beautiful. Grab a swatch card though to be sure you like the colour. I do feel the screens are accurate though. Great quality.

Beautifully soft and light
1 March 2022

I replaced a cotton duvet cover with this linen one. The fabric itself is a little sheer and if you have a duvet insert that is anything but white in color, it might show through, but the lightweight nature of linen is why I replaced my cotton duvet cover. The cotton cover made our duvet heavy, literally and figuratively. The cotton is woven densely and makes the duvet feel like an x-ray blanket, which is OK for winter, but not in FL, where we live. The linen, on the other hand, is light and makes the whole bed more comfortable, soft and luxurious. The linen duvet cover is of excellent quality, although I would prefer a zipper to buttons on the bottom. It was a little scratchy when I first put the bed, but as expected it's gotten softer with every wash. Shrinkage as far as I can tell hasn't occurred, and I do place it in the dryer. Just a wonderful product and worth the investment. Packaging and delivery also exceptional. I highly recommend.

Duvet Cover

Upon receiving this item the fabric felt rough. I understand that after every wash it will become softer, but I did not realize I had to put so much work into getting this duvet comfortable enough to use. Right after opening it released so much fabric dust into the air we were sneezing back to back. We had to wash it twice before using it over night. The threads that attached the buttons on the opening end is all coming apart. I’m afraid that after a few more washes the buttons might come off. Very disappointing for the price value.

Itchy but hoping for future softness
17 July 2024

I really like the colour. The texture though is very itchy. I'm hoping that with all the linen softening tricks talked about on the internet I will one day have soft bedding. At the moment (four washes in) its like sleeping in woollen sheets. If I had another chance I would choose linen that has been pre-softened. So, they may be awesome, but I don't know at what point this will be and will endure the discomfort until they soften up

Love hate relationship with these

I love how the duvet cover keeps me cool and how comfy it feels. HOWEVER, and it is a HUGE however, the leave dust everywhere. Have washed and hung out 4 times now and it’s not getting better. I have filled up an entire vacuum with this weird rust colored dust that comes off the covers! They will roll like tumbleweeds if I skip one day vacuuming. This sounds absurd. Crazy. I KNOW. But it’s true and it’s so bizarre. I wish it would stop. I thought ok maybe because they’re new and have been washed just once (I bought two). Nope. Just as bad as day one. Will they eventually disintegrate into nothing? I keep a vacuum in my bedroom and have to clean this up TWICE A DAY! This never happened before I bought these. Just bizarre. Soft, but does not withstand the test of time
13 July 2024

When I first received this duvet cover, it was quite stiff and scratchy. Over time, with multiple washes, it softened up quite a bit and became an absolute dream to sleep in. I've cycling between this duvet cover and another (from another competitive linen brand) for about a year now, and unfortunately, this cover just does not withstand the test of time. I've followed all care instructions to a tee, but somehow the linen has worn down in multiple spots, and there is now a hole at the end of the duvet cover. The other duvet cover I have is still holding up fine and has received the exact same care. For the price I paid for this bed cover, I would have expected it to withstand much more and a year of on and off use. Stunning colour
2 November 2023

This is my third quilt from Bed Threads, and it did not disappoint. I was tossing up between the Hazelnut and the Pink Clay. After seeing the Hazelnut in a feature in someone’s home on the website I was sold on the colour. I already have white, oatmeal and terracotta sheets from Bed Threads and the colours work so well together. My cat approves too. I always wash my linen when I get it and have found that the third wash is the sweet spot.

Terracotta Flax Linen Duvet Cover

How much do I love Bed Threads and linen sheets. I’m running out of colours to mix! Such a beautiful fresh, luxurious feeling when you slip into bed. Terracotta goes well with my lavender sheets so well and also Natural. Love the staff there too. The service is amazing and personal. The rewards system really works here too. Very happy customer.
