The 3018-PROVer milling/engraving platform is just the beginning. Expand your machine with an optional sturdy aluminium spindle holder or powerful laser modules. The 3018-PROVer is the version of the 3018 Desktop CNC DIY series. It is now largely pre-assembled and can therefore be assembled out of the box in less than fifteen minutes with minimal effort. The controls available give you full control of your 3018-PROVer Desktop CNC machine. Using the large LC display of the offline controller, your milling machine can even be controlled entirely without a computer. If a project should still get out of hand, the 3018-PROVer has an emergency stop button that is clearly visible and easily accessible to switch off your machine immediately in an emergency. Make more of the all-aluminium construction of the SainSmart Genmitsu CNC 3018-PROVer and use the extra stability to mill a wider range of materials, while the acrylic guards make cleaning even easier. Dust is reliably contained while even more protection is provided against accidental contact. The 3018-PROVer is still based on the open source Grbl v1.1 driver, but it offers even more powerful yet quieter Toshiba TB6S109 drivers with increased durability and performance, as well as additional optocouplers to protect the GRBL control board from the risk of damage and the entire mechanics from stopping too abruptly.
