The primer was easy to apply and dried quickly. The brush is a little too wide. It would be nice if it was just a little less wide however it is better than the super small brushes I have used by other brands. I have several colors in the Miracle Gel as I am an avid Sally Hansen fan. I use the Miracle Gel line because it’s a go to if you need your nails painted quickly however unfortunately I never get more than 4 days before it starts chipping and including the step of adding the new primer didn’t add any additional days. The conclusion is that the primer just tacks on more time to painting nails while not offering extension of polish life. I would always recommend using the primer as it still serves as a base coat. I will most likely skip this step in the future as far as my finger nails go because they need to be repainted within 4 -6 days anyway. I will continue to use on my toe nails though as the paint on my toes always outlasts the polish on my fingers by far as there are no signs of chopping noticed on my toe nails as of yet.

My daughter thought I was exaggerating until I showed her me applying it she touched my nail it really was dry. Now the downside is if you're not quick with painting your nails or notice you missed a spot or maybe want to add a tad more, it can get goopy if you go over the same spot twice. If you do quick strokes over the same spot twice, it's ok. But if you start on one side of your nail, go to the center then to the other edge, do not try to add more to the first side. Overall I had less chipping than normal nail polish on my nails, so that was a plus for me. I'm one of those people who nail polish will peel off their nails. But this one didn't. I did try to peel it off after 13 days, just to see if I could. I was able to get the smallest pieces off. So the primer proved to me that it does help your polishes to grip on stay put. The shine did last for over a week. It wasn't as omg shiny as the first day, but it still looked good. Even my hubby said he liked how my nails looked. I used the 3 productson my toes have had zero chipping after 7 days. Overall i cannot say it's a bad product. If you're harsh on your nails or have a job that's doing a lot of manual labor, this primer really could help your mani stay in place longer. The brush is wider than im used to that took a minute to get used to. If i could change anything about the product overall, I'd make the brush a tad smaller/thinner or make the bottle opening a bit bigger. Bc if you're not paying attn you'll catch the brush bristles when you put the brush back in, whether to pick up more product or bc you're done using it. But i will keep using it especially on my toenails bc we're going on vacation soon if I do my nails before we leave, i won't have to worry about how they look for that week.

I love the color I was sent and overall the nails look good, just have an issue with how it dries. On bottles it states to do 2 coats for the color and then 2 coats of the top coat, after applying 1 coat of the primer. After you added the top coat to the color, it gave a nice little shine making it look like gel polish from the nail salon and I really liked it. I did notice that a little while later, I would say maybe a good 20 minute after I applied the polish, the color didn’t actually dry. There was small ridges and areas that kind of bunched up under the top coat. I think it would be better to allow for some dry time between the polish and top coat to allow for a better final look. Ultimately the nails with the primer (left hand) did last a little longer. I think I would continue to use this primer on my nails in the future because while the difference may not be significant, it still does what it claims to do.
