I purchased 4 colors and 2 top coats. All of them don't seem to work as they are supposed to. I have tried everything to get a consistent color application. The 2nd coat seems to pull the 1st coat off. Even if I let dry for 5 minutes the top coat ends up with the color from the polish in it. The polish chips and breaks my nails underneath. Could these bottles simply have been sitting a target too long, possibly. I can't seem to get the results I want from this polish. Possibly back to the old method of base coat is the way to go instead. Too bad I spent $60 on 4 colors and 2 top coats.... Show more

5 Star product
Money saver!! I stopped going to nail salons about 2 years ago and got bored with no polish on my nails and I saw a TikTok on this product and decided to try it. Glad I did. It is a game changer. I try to buy a new color every time I order my online groceries to build my collection. Every Sunday evening I change my polish and yes, my Sunday the polish will have begun chipping but who cares, it lasted all week with washing dishes nightly and being a mom of 3. I love the matte topcoat bc it nearly dries instantly. I’m not a fan of the sugar topcoat bc it is textured but I still use it. I apply two coats and the first coat looks thin but once you add the 2nd coat it is salon grade power. Once I let this dry (while watching TV) I add the step 2 Or topcoat. I have done ... I have done more investigating and this brand offers a base coat but I’ve never tried it. This may help the polish last longer than a week. I like to change my color weekly bc I get bored with one color so I don’t think I’d ever try that step especially if is going to increase the dry time. I also enjoy that this brand comes out with collections of colors, kinda like OPI. During Christmas they had a collection that was beautiful and I bought 3 out of it, currently they have a dessert collection and that I love and I am on the hunt to own the entire collection. I enjoy this brand bc the color stays a full week, I do not have to spend my time or money in a salon and they dry fast. Overall these should all be 5 stars. Please note in my picture I tried the unicorn topcoat to see if I liked the mix. The picture is the 4th day of polished nails.... Show more

Bulletproof!
I haven't worn nail polish in years. I used to keep my nails professionally done, but these days I actually have to USE my hands. LOL Well, I bought some miracle gel and thought....I'll give it a try. WOW. Okay....my nails break and peel if you LOOK at them too hard. Nail polish just seemed to make it worse. I tried miracle gel (Flashionista) and I'm STUNNED. Not only do they hold up to showers, dishwashing and gardening, but I've actually had to begin FILING my nails. No, not broken corners. They are GROWING. I don't usually wear them much longer than my fingertips, and I've found within weeks I have to file them DOWN. I'm convinced I could grow them longer if I wanted to. After about a week I can peel them off and repeat with a different color. It's a lot less MESSY, requires fewer layers to be opaque. It dries quickly on the hands. The only downside is the bottle dries quickly too; however, I consider that a minimal issue. At $10 per bottle; it's not a big deal to replace. Finally, a solution!... Show more

electric lime is a scam!!
the color online of the electric lime is nothing like it is in person; it isn’t even remotely “electric.” it’s a creamy light green. i had to do 3 coats of it. once i get past 2 coats i already know it’s a fail, but i went for 3 to give it its best chance.. didn’t help. past 3 it gets too thick so i stopped there even though it looked awful. i followed up with the recommended top coat, hoping it would work some kind of miracle. it didn’t, it looks terrible. maybe i’ll try a different color next time but this electric lime is garbage, which is where it’s headed next.... Micro bubbles
I have tried applying this 3 times now. The first application was 3 medium thickness coats, second was 2 super thin coat and third was 2 medium thickness coat. First time I shake the bottle really well because I just bought it, second time I gave it a quick shake and third times I simply rotated the bottle very slowly to prevent air being trappped. I have tried on freshly manicured and washed hands, second time was straight after applying nail/ cuticle oil and third times wasafter using nail polish. Also use SH top coat miracle gel. No matter what I do I get those tiny tiny bubbles forming in the colour polish not in top coat . Not impressed at all. I have just redone it with the thinnest coat and still have bubble. Apologies for not tidying up the edges I couldn’t ... MoreI have tried applying this 3 times now. Poor coverage, chips the next day. Bad batch?
The only reason I have given 2 stars is because my first experience with this polish last fall (Color 207 - Out of this Pearl) was a decent one. The polish lasted almost a week. However, the last 2 colors I have purchased (Pinky Promise and Peaches and Dream) have been very watery/streaky with tiny little dots in them, have taken at least 5 coats for consistent coverage, and have chipped within a day or two. (Yes, my nails are clean. Yes, I allow more than five minutes dry time between coats. No, it is not my nails as other polishes are fine.) Has there been a recall on a bad batch of polish, because my last 2 purchases, at different stores, 2 weeks apart, seem defective?... Show more

Pretty pink/purple
My nails tend to reject polish and it chips the first day or the second. This polish stays a whole week for me. I’ve tried three different colors but the orchid one is my favorite. It looks purple but sometimes it looks more pink. I think it suits my skin tone pretty well. I’ve noticed this color happens to be a little thicker than some of the other ones I’ve tried. The other ones have shimmer in them so maybe that’s the difference? This color took two coats and it would have been perfect if I had steadier hands.... Show more

The worst performing nail polish I've ever used
I purchased three colours from this neon collection ( peach please, miami ice and violet voltage). I had such high hopes as the colours are absolutely beautiful. My first purchase was the violet polish. It was streaky on application but I was determined to make it work. I had read to apply a white polish underneath to help with the streaking so on my next attempt I tried that and it did help somewhat but not totally. I then decided to purchase the other two colours in hopes they'd performed better. Let me tell you I've never been so frustrated with a polish before. Even after three coats the polishes remained streaky. I allowed an hour between each coat and still the brush was pulling colour off my nails leaving patches of no colour. Even when you put the top coat (step 2) on it's pulls colour off the nails. It's the weirdest thing. It's almost as if the polish formula is reacting negatively with one another. After hours of trying to make this polish work only to have to remove it completely I've given up. All of them will go back to the store for a refund. Don't waste your precious time with these polishes. I assure you the product is garbage. I will be hesitant to purchase another one of Sally's polishes after this horrible experience.... Show more

Tricky to apply but worth it!
I love all the colors. *It would be best if you let this polish dry completely between coats, or just make sure you have time to sit and let dry, it's worth the wait. I do my nails at my desk (home office) so I let them dry completely before attempting to anything else. I use the Color Therapy 552 Nail Correcter as the base coat, and it dries quickly. I wait 10-15 min before a second coat if using an opaque color-less for the sheer shades. I have not bought the top coat yet as I already have Essi Gel top coat. I will try the top coat when this runs out. I love Sally Hanson's gel and Color Therapy lines best! I even bring my polish when I get a professional manicure.... Show more

Wasted my money
I really didn't spend much time getting my nails professionally done or even keeping them polished but they were very well maintained. It was only recently after my engagement that I decided to start getting my nails done professionally. After growing out my acrylic's and didn't want spend the extra money for a get manicure to help strengthen my nails. I thought long and hard if I wanted to spend what I wouldn't normally spend for nail polish on SH Miracle Gels polish and top coat. I mean this stuff isn't reasonably priced in my opinion. I cleaned my names with acetone polish remover, painted my nails with two coats (drying between each by placing my hand in front of a fan for 10 minutes) then the top coat. I was completely dry after an hour. The next day after taking a shower, what did I see, a chip on several fingers. Not a fan at all of your MG polish. I wish I could return this but I know it would take an act of Congress for Walmart to except my return. I actually had better luck with the $2.99 gel polish from the beauty supply store. At least it lasted a full 6 days before I saw my first chip.... Show more
