I decided to get a XS based on the sizing chart. I have to say it does run a bit smaller than expected so if you’re conflicted between 2 sizes, I would size up. Also I would wash it before using, since the dye stained my shirt under. I had 2 running vest before and I never had this problem and they were far more affordable than this vest. I don’t know if I got a defected one but I was disappointed this happened since the shirt was new as well. If this didn’t happen I would give it 4 stars since it did chaf my neck

I have 5 Salomon packs ranging in different sizes for different adventures. This one broke after less than 1 month. The straps that hold the water bottles in broke. And the mesh front pocket is starting to wear already.Also, the top goes up higher in the neck than the ADV 5&12 I have. It is irritating for longer runs. But, that just might be me.

Really comfortable running vest. Really keeps you cool and I did not feel hot whilst running. Lots of useful pockets and storage areas. I got a small (size12) and it fitted me perfectly. I did manage to break one of the bottle straps on the second outing though...

I have been using this vest for a couple of weeks, and I am very happy with its features. The zip pockets are easily accessible on-the-go, the other pockets secure my phone and other items without zippers, and the soft flasks are easy to use!
I have used this on several 100km runs and there is plenty of space for food and any required clothing / medical kit /etc. I have also added the extra water bladder in the back and it's perfect. My one complaint is that the two water bottles it came with seem to have teats that come off too easily. On my last race, I went to have a drink whilst running and the teat came off and fell onto the trail, I couldn't find it and the bottle was now useless for the rest of the race (thankfully it wasn't too hot). Salomon do better bottles - use them when selling this and don't give us these cheap ones!
Really happy with this vest! Several of my lady friends recommended the fit on the Unisex in XS rather than getting the Women's, and after trying them both on I'm glad I bought this one! Fits perfect and doesn't shift around at all. I've taken it on three long mountain runs since getting it. The only thing that I don't love is it can be kind of hard to find things in the big mesh pocket as it's all connected from both sides. BUT, on the flip side I love how much space there is for stashing stuff. I can easily bring water, food, phone, jacket, first aid & emerg kit, and more with room to spare.
Exactly what I was looking for in a running vest, fits amazing hardly notice your wearing it, game changer on high mile runs, plenty of room to carry whatever accessories you need. Haven't had long enough to test the durability but its well made should last a long time. Highly recommend
I’ve tried a few different running brand vests and have to say, this is by far the most practical/comfortable one I’ve had. It’s slimline, fits against the body nice and the pockets are placed well for sipping from bottles as you run. Would highly recommend.
Excellent quality lightweight vest that fits everything you will need for mountain hikes/runs. You barely feel like you are carrying anything, even when it was filled with rain gear, lunch, water. The bottles are so easy to use on the go. Bargain price for what you get!
I used the vest maybe 40 days. The zipper was used maybe 5-6 times per day. I contacted Salomon and they said due to being older than 2 years they would not do anything. No repair. No discount on a new vest. Nothing. Ultimate direction has a lifetime warranty so my new vest has been ordered from them. Stay away from Salomon if you want good customer service or a product that they are willing to back.
