I like the pockets and features of this vest; however after wearing it on two long trails runs I've found the top of the vest digs into my neck, causing chafing and it is very uncomfortable. The vest is also not very breathable and my shirts have been soaked after runs with this on. Hoping to try another version!

I am using the vest for long distance/marathon training. Its quite a great vest! Fits perfectly on me. Doesn't feel like there is excess weight when the water pouches are filled up. The pockets are great! The pockets in the front are quite deep and stay closed when the vest is against the body.

I have used this for 4 weeks now. I find it useful for carrying keys, gels, water. The inly downside is my arms were chaffed from resistance on my first 10k with this. I had to put a plaster on the area for next run to prevent changing. In hot weather, it makes you sweat more and I guess that is part of wearing a vest.

I wish I had bought ACTIVE SKIN 4 sooner! The quality is outstanding, and the materials are both durable and breathable. The smart design ensures that everything, from keys to gear, stays secure and doesn't bounce while running. The vest fits great and is adjustable via an elastic cord at the front. It's lightweight and vented, so you hardly realize you're wearing it. Additionally, there is plenty of storage, and the water bottles are fantastic. Overall, it's a solid 5 out of 5 stars for me.
I bought this as it comes highly recommended by everyone. However, I quickly returned it when I saw how rough the material was. As someone who likes wearing only sports bras on top when running, I could already tell that the material will cause me to chafe everywhere. Ordered the Sense Pro 6 instead which has better quality. It’s probably fine if you wear a tshirt or anything that prevents direct skin contact.
I bough six vest for my friends and I. Spent over $600 and two of the vest didn’t come with the water flask. I emailed customer service and they gave me an extremely hard time. I am missing 3 water flask and they only gave me 15% refund of ONE! Which is not even the price of one. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Should refund what they didn’t send !!
A friend recommended this product and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable, doesn’t cause chafing not even on bare skin. And it has plenty of pockets for storage. However, the measurements I think are slightly off. I usually get medium but based on the size chart my size was small. I ordered small, but I could have easily gotten a medium. Since I don’t live in the US, it would have cost me a lot to return it or exchange it. I am making it work with the small as well, the tightness is adjustable, but I think a medium would have been better.
I'm a regular 5 to 20k+ runner, who had previously held off from buying a vest over fit / cost concerns, however I'm over the moon with this product, it's excellent and already helping to keep me going for longer. It's actually my first Salomon bit of kit. I'm 47 years old, 179cm tall with a fairly athletic build (for age) after buying both medium and large, I choose the medium and returned the other one. The medium felt very snug, but I’m glad I opted for that one as once loaded up with water, phone and other bits it sits just perfectly, no bounce and just right. Salomon where excellent on return of the unwanted large, issuing a refund within days of return. Highly recommend this vest.
I didn't want to spend $100+ on a vest I would only wear occassionally, but it's one of the best purchases I've made. The vest fits extremely well. It's secure and doesn't jostle, even when holding both flexible water bottles. There are a number of compartments and places to hold nutrition, and other small items like your ID or credit card. There is also a bad zip-up compartment for items you want on your person, but don't need to access while running. One thing that I wish it had was another small zip up area in the front, as well as a zip up flat area for a phone.
