Shoes were pretty comfortable out of the box and only got better as they broke in. Great for a daily shoe to walk around town in and even better for trails. Sizing is pretty spot on. Only thing I didn’t love was how far the tongue sticks up sometimes, but just a personal preference. Price initially seemed a little steep, but so far they’ve been holding up as well or better than expected. Would definitely purchase another pair in the future.

I have been a loyal Salomon customer for years since my Plantar Fasciitis started flaring up again. I’m an avid weightlifter and I also hike and move around a lot. I wanted one shoe that could do it all. I started buying several generations of the Salomon Speedcross and S Labs. I have to admit that you almost lost me as a customer because the quality suffered terribly during the pandemic and over the last year or so along with very limited choices and awful/boring colors. I saw these and jumped right ion it because of the color and they are S Labs. I was a bit hesitant because they are quite pricey, but decided to give it a go. I absolutely love them! I bought a second pair, exact same color. Over 10 years ago I bought a pair of XT Wings to hike in Nepal. They were absolutely amazing and lasted many many years. When I retired them I never found another pair of Salomon's that could replace them until now! I walk a lot with my Great Dane and I was therefore VERY excited when I saw that the XT-4 OG had a very similar construction to my XT Wings. I bought a pair in size 9 mens (I am normally a size 10.5 women) and I am very HAPPY that I did! Can't wait to go on long walks with my dog and feel like I am walking on air! I hope these last a long time like my XT-Wings did! Only time will tell!

This has been a fantastic pair of shoes for the last couple of months. The person I bought them for is very happy with the quality and look of the shoe. Although there is not a lot of cushioning, they have used the shoe for hiking and long walks and find the shoes very comfortable. They did find that their normal size was a bit narrow and by sizing up half a size this was solved. Overall, a great pair of shoes!
Size 10 beautiful feel, fits so well, falls nicely, doesn't highlight my midriff bulge, perfect length over hush pants. Wore with Fella Hamilton short summer bolero in stripey blue pattern. I thought looked good. I'm 155cm and weight about 57kg.
I bought this shoe to overcome some difficult lava trails in the galapagos Islands. My work as a naturalist guide is really demanding and some good shoes with strong grip is indespensable. I bought a us 11 I normally use 10. It fits perfect! Shoe padding is really impresive too. I have not use it on the field but the shoe looks really well builded.
I wanted these for so long and finally got them but unfortunately they’re too big. I ordered an 8 in women’s but it’s more of an 8.5 and I couldn’t exchange because the lower sizes were all sold out unfortunately. Not Salomon’s fault but definitely a bummer. I’m keeping them because I love them so much and have been wanting them but they do run big.
I have been a fan of the XT-4 style for several years. These shoes are extremely comfortable in addition to being eye-catchingly handsome. I appreciate the stability of the sole/midsole, the easy lacing mechanism, and the quality of materials used. The updated OG variation has tougher material in the heel cup (which is typically the first area of wear for me). Highly recommend.
i am just blown away on the feel and form fitting this shoe offers. i immediately put my shoes on once they arrived (on time as usual) and went for a quick run to try them out,i would have to say theses by far are the best trail shoe i’ve purchased and im a avid runner. there isn’t any slip and you can forget about shoe laces because there on a quick release feature integrated.pure magic imo! this would be my 3rd pair as of now and i’m just itching to purchase more after what i just felt on that run .
I really like the shape of the shape and the design. Fit true to size. The colorway is crazy. Only thing That I Don't really like about a lot of model the yellow réd and blue on the tongue never fit good on the shoe because these 3 colours already Don't look good together and if you put these colour on a red shoe, you Don't want to see à blue rectangle out of nowhere. Exept that the shoe and quality is totally soo stylish.
