Bought these over the summer and now have 14 days in them. Solid feeling boot- not too heavy, not too light. Firm and supportive liner. Just enough stiffness for me to get some resistance for control (I'm 6"1', 180 lbs), but still a warm boot. I flipped the chip on the back to get more stiffness after my first outing and never looked back. They are stiffer than other 100's I tried, but I'd still like a bit more stiffness when in tight trees- totally fine everywhere else. More room in toe box and above instep than other boots I tried while still having good heel and ankle fit for me. Next boot will be stiffer, but these are good for now and for how much I ski (10 to 15 days a year).

Before I bought these I truly underestimated the importance of a good ski boot. Excellent fitting. Comfortable and good support. Easy to put on and take off. Easy to buckle and unbuckle. Never realized how important the latter was until the buckles on my old boots got stuck. All in all, very stable ride starting with a good boot. I am very happy with these Salomon MV100s

These boots are awesome! My old boots were 20 years old and I learned that they were too big for my foot. I went to a professional ski shop in Las Vegas (the only one that exists) and they helped me discover my correct size. Initially, I was surprised at how much tighter the correctly sized boot was, but then after wearing them for a while, they felt much better and it was nice not having my foot move around in the boot. These also look fantastic and will go great with the new skis I bought in 2022. I wish they were less expensive, but if they last me another 20 years then it should be well worth the investment.

These boots were comfortable out of the box and for their first day in a way I did not expect them to be.I have a bum right foot and these felt comfortable for a whole day of skiing. They're warm with just thin merino socks, and the clasps are easy to get to with or without gloves. The gripwalk is a great, too!I haven't had them fitted yet (it's impossible to find someone around here!) but hope to soon. I can't recommend these highly enough.
These are very nice boots and extremely comfortable the more you wear them. But they are also supposed to be customizable and yet there are no instructions whatsoever with the skis. The customization requires a special oven which almost no one has. They're nice boots and they probably could be a lot nicer if there were any instructions with them for how to set them up correctly or if there was some way to actually have them customized easily. But when you take these to your local ski shop and ask them to help you customize them they're gonna look at you with a blank stair because they will have no idea what you are talking about even if they are a Solomon dealer. Most of this confusion and problem is caused by Solomon not providing instructions not making it up ... MoreThese are very nice boots and extremely comfortable the more you wear them. And evil could have told me all of that up front, but they did not.If I had paid full price for these boots I would be extremely disappointed, Not in the boots but in the lack of after sales information and service. You'd think I would be able to go on the Solomon website look up my boots and find out exactly what can be adjusted or customized and exactly how to do it. But the reality is you will not find that information anywhere.
I have the S/Pro 120 and I like it so much that I bought the S/Pro 100 for my son. It's a light boot. Heat moldable liner (which you MUST do to get the "perfect fit.). The shell is also heat moldable, although I have not needed to test that feature. And I always run a custom footbed for myself, and an off-the-shelf footbed for kids feet that are still growing. A replacement footbed is a must-have for all ski boots. The Salomon inner boots it very nice, very easy to slide into and out of. I tend to get boots as small as is practical, for the best performance fit after breaking in. My street shoes are size 10.5. I have a medium width foot and a high arch. My S/Pro 120 is 27/27.5. I loved that boot too, although I went quite aggressive with the fit. My current 27/27.5 is perfectly fine for hard charging recreational skiing. I also have the Tecnica Mach 1 MV 120 for days when I want to wear a blue boot. That's also a great boot. Lol. But seriously, I do have multiple ski boots. I'm a bit of a tech geek and an engineer by profession, I live in the SLC area and have a season pass for Alta/Snowbird, and I ski 60-75 days per season. So I'd characterize myself as a better-than-average judge of products.
First, let me start with my general eval: excellent boots! Second, let me provide you with the details. The boots are very comfortable and provide a nice grip on the feet. In addition, if the grip is too tight the boots allow for accommodating wider feet. I am just anxious to hit the slopes this coming season.
I have a wider & flatter foot than most, but Salomon ski boots have always been comfortable. Not sure why I find Salomon comfortable. Just wanted to share about my feet and that I find their boots to be great. That is why I picked to buy Salomon. The strap on these boots at the top is extremely helpful for tightening and getting that snug feeling. I will update this review if needed! But rn, 10/10 for the price especially.
Good boots overall. Much lighter than my previous 12 years old Dalbello. Extremely comfortable as well. This is pretty wide boot. 100FLEX feels a bit soft, but have to test it on the mountain. After all, I'm not a competitive skiing and was after a comfortable boot first of all.
I bought these for myself and also the women's model for my wife. We have long prized having good boots and now we don't have to rent demo's anymore. The salesman was super helpful with the heat treating / custom fit process and answered all my questions. I am an agressive skier and get bored if I stay off the blacks. I was a little worried at the time of purchase that I wasn't getting the top end as far as the flexibility rating, but these were a perfect combination of flex and performance for me. I love them and ski'ed multiple days without my feet or legs hurting at all. Wife said the same thing and she has high arches and has been one to feel foot pain over the years more than me. Super happy with the purchase, and the custom fit. We DID also get the "SuperFeet" ... MoreI bought these for myself and also the women's model for my wife.
