Salomon Trailrunning-Schuhe Speedcross 6 Forces schwarz
The Salomon SPEEDCROSS 6 is a technical trail shoe that is suitable for challenging trail routes. Trail runs with many elevation meters and challenging surfaces such as muddy paths and routes with many boulders. Enjoy the perfect balance between grip, protection and stability and explore untouched nature reserves with this trail shoe! Midsole The EnergyCell+ midsole returns a lot of energy for a responsive feeling. It also offers good cushioning and the material is durable, making the shoes resistant to running ultra trails. Upper The SPEEDCROSS has an upper that makes you trail-ready. The upper part of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Furthermore, the anti-debris mesh gives you the certainty that no dirt will get between your foot and the footbed. Ripstop is the weaving technique used in manufacturing the shoe to ensure that the material of the upper is strong and tear-resistant. With this shoe, the bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top is flexible, soft and comfortable. This will not put pressure on your heel bone. Finally, the shoe has the Quicklace lacing system to easily loosen and tighten your laces. This means you no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running. Outsole The Contagrip Mud outsole is specially designed for effortless running on wet surfaces. The sole material is soft to provide maximum grip on muddy and slippery surfaces. The sole features Chevron studs that allow it to settle deep into soft ground. The large spaces between the studs ensure that mud disappears quickly. Don't let muddy and slippery surfaces hold you back with the Salomon SPEEDCROSS 6!

The SpeedCross line shoe has been a go-to for me for several years now. The light weight, foot-bed comfort, and trail traction have made me a return customer. As much as I’ve enjoyed previous versions in the past though, I had always felt there were some needed areas for improvement. The new Salomon SpeedCross 6 Forces includes those corrections/enhancements that I felt previous versions have lacked. Some examples include: 1) additional padding and material in the inner rear heal area to prevent friction holes, 2) the added lace pocket results in a more secure , safe, and comfortable lace placement, 3) there are no reflective materials or loud colors, and 4) the lace attachment holes seem more robust as does the material on top of the toe.In short, Salomon enhanced ... MoreThe SpeedCross line shoe has been a go-to for me for several years now. This is my third pair of Speedcross shoes and hands down the best. They finally got the wide fit right with this latest generation because I can wear them all day long on the range and not have any soreness or fatigue in my toes (which was common with both pairs of my Speedcross 4s). The color is great too; it’s definitely gray, not blue, and the small red accents make the gray pop even better. Also the rubber compound used for the sole/lugs seems to be a big improvement over the 4th gen. They are very grippy on loose, dry, and moist surfaces, even on slick smooth floors, which surprised me given the big lugs. I’ve only had them a month so I’m hoping the rubber stays soft and grippy over time.

I got these for backpacking the GR11 across the Pyrenees. The fit came a bit tight even in the wide version so swapped for a half size up. Very good grip on all mountain surfaces wet and dry, never had the opportunity to try on snow. The speed lace system works ok but it's necessary to do something to prevent the closed loop snagging on vegetation and causing a fall. I used trail gaiters so it wasn't an issue otherwise I would have cut the loop for safety. Heels don't need to be so high though. Reasonably durable though a sharp rock pierced the thin side fabric at one point. Not waterproof but dried quick when weather allowed.

Great shoes I’ve gone through 2 pairs! The break in period is very quickly and the fit is amazing. I really like the speed lace system and how you can adjust pressure for your particular foot. I think they feel better after the sole is worn down a bit. It makes it feel less like a soccer cleat and more like a trail running shoe.I have worn these for multiple days at a time in a variety of environments and can say these are very comfortable. They dry extremely fast but also provide very minimal heat retention. These do not provide great traction on wet or slick surfaces (ie, boat ramps, deck plates, slick rocks).I think that these are a lot less durable than some of the other options here. If you are needing something that will work for colder temperatures and will stand up to more punishment I might recommend the XA Pros or XA Forces.
I purchased my first pair of Salomon shoes, the Speedcross 5, in 2019 and have been incredibly pleased with their performance. Despite the soles wearing off over the past 4+ years, the shoes themselves are still in perfect condition.Based on my positive experience with the Speedcross 5, I decided to purchase the newer model, the Speedcross 6. Knowing that the soles tend to wear off before the rest of the shoe, I also bought a cheaper everyday running shoe to extend the life of my new Speedcross 6's.However, I was disappointed to notice recently that my Speedcross 6's have started to crack at the seams. This is particularly frustrating as I have worn them much less over the past 8 months than I would have worn my Speedcross 5's over the same period. This is particularly frustrating as I have worn them much less over the past 8 months than I would have worn my Speedcross 5's over the same period. Not only have I continued to regularly wear my Speedcross 5's, but I have also used my cheaper running shoes in rotation. The contrast in durability between the Speedcross 5 and the Speedcross 6 is significant. While my Speedcross 5's have lasted over 4 years with regular use, the Speedcross 6's have started to show signs of wear much sooner. In conclusion, I am disappointed with the performance of the Speedcross 6's, especially considering the longevity of the Speedcross 5's. This experience has made me hesitant to purchase Solomon shoes in the future.
I can’t say enough about these shoes and they finally made an army green color for women! I have two other colors and they have been my go to hiking shoe when ankle support wasn’t needed! They went all over Iceland and I honestly had better grip on the trails than my husband I. His hiking books! I highly recommend them! Even though they have a large grip tread they’re still comfort for a run around shoe! Making them water resistant is also a bonus for rainy days or wet and icy trails! I want them in a black color for women though! That’s the only fault Incan find is more colors please!
After having several pairs of Solomon trail shoes over the years this is my first pair of Speedcross. Since I am a mid-foot striker, I did not try them before because of the high drop (10mm). Anyways, I barley noticed the drop the first time I ran in them. I think it is part of its unique design. I run most of the time in trails by the river avoiding as much as possible hard surfaces (tarmac/pavement/concrete) and participate in 2-3 races a year of 25K in average. These shoes have a superb grip, especially on soft/muddy terrain and the upper close knit keeps debris away. The WIDE fit is also a plus for me because I found the regular fit a little bit too narrow. As for quality, it is great. The WIDE fit is also a plus for me because I found the regular fit a little bit too narrow. As for quality, it is great. A little over 640 kilometres (400 miles) and except for a bit of mud, the shoes look like new including the 5mm lugs. No issues at all.My only comment (wish) for Salomon would be to have a L&W (low and wide) version of these shoes for mid-foot strikers. I mean, if you could reduce the heel stack to 24 or 26mm keeping the forefoot stack as is on 20mm, that would be great (4-6 mm drop) for a firm, low to the ground ride.If you are looking for a softer, more cushioned ride, Salomon has several models designed for Ultra marathons. Back to the SC6, I find them very comfortable in "short" distances, especially when the weather is cool and the terrain is soft (spring and autumn up here, and even in winter time).
This my third review. This one was specifically requested by Solomon.I only wear this shoe for orienteering and by now I have participated in many orienteering meets (some more successful than others but that's on me). I usually run/walk the Brown Course (around 4-kms+/- with about 100-meters of climb). I've orienteered on all types of terrain: bad trails, good trails, through marshes, rocky ground, crossed streams, wet ground, muddy ground, clamberred up and down hillsides, etc. And, I still finish - the Speedcross 6 help a lot! The lugs are at the right depth and correctly spaced. My only issue with the shoe is that I wish that the heel cup was leather lined. Just a thought!I like 'em!
I've owned various Salomon trail running shoes over the past 9 years and this was my first time buying the wide version of a show. Holy smokes, it makes a huge difference (in a good way) in how my fat foot fits into the shoe.Bought my first pair of these Speedcross 6 wide back in March 2023. Over that time, I've gotten in about 3-5 miles every day on the trail. The only things I've had to replace during that time are the shoelaces once and the insoles once (both due to normal wear and tear). Other than that, the shoe has held up amazingly well.I've worn down the tread enough to retire this pair, and I'm getting ready to purchase a new pair of the exact same shoe. I've been so happy with them that I'll continue to purchase this exact style until they discontinue ... MoreI've owned various Salomon trail running shoes over the past 9 years and this was my first time buying the wide version of a show. I run/hike the volcanic ridges of Oahu,Hi which is to say that each outing my terrain contains razor sharp rock, slick volcanic pumice and mud with a frictional coefficient equivalent to ice. I am on my 3rd pair of Speed Cross 6 shoes. I do about 12 miles a week with 6k vertical. The shoes last me about 16 weeks. Approximately 200 miles with 100k vertical on extremely rugged terrain. I consider these shoes as vital equipment and don't mind spending .75$/mile. They cushion and support on the hard loose terrain, throw mud like a 2 stage snow machine and grip like a Boa Constrictor on the volcanic pumice. I have caveman feet and thus order the wide width which a merino wool sock.
