(I recently broke my hand after a fall caused by stepping on my own shoelaces. Ha!) I do like the lacing, but not a fan of the tuck-in method. I have very narrow feet, so tighter lacing & thus more excess string could be the issue. Feels lumpy and slips out, but not enough to trip over. 🙂 Any tricks or a way to shorten the lacing-loop?

I bought these ahead of my first multi sport race and they were great! No issues with blisters (which I’m normally prone to) and the pull cord lace is really quick and easy for transitions

I needed new hiking shoes for a backpacking trip we were going on and after trying numerous brands and styles, I finally found the winner! The X Ultra 360 fit the bill with being lightweight, durable and comfy. They even work with my gators (as seen in pic). I also like the laces and built in "garage" system for them. I feel they fit perfect but can be tightened or loosened to best suit your feet. Nice job, Salomon!
I have been wearing this style of Solomons for nine years and I definitely feel like if it's not broke, don't fix it. These were my first trail runners in 2015 and I don't feel any need to find anything else. I do have long skinny feet and they are super comfortable. I wear them with Injinji socks and get zero blisters. I'm hoping they don't stop making them or change them too much! It seems like it's getting hard to find them in REI stores. I live in hot SoCal so I don't want waterproof or boot style.
I have been using these trail runners for a month. It feels like walking on clouds. Never had a more comfortable pair of trail hikers. I had my longest hike today on Gambier Island and they were perfect for walking across streams, jumping over fallen trees and generally scrambling our way at up and down the side of Mt Killlam. My all time favourite shoes.
Perfect fit very comfortable as are all Salomon shoes but I bought vortex to keep my feet dry and these do not. My previous Gortex Salomon were wag better.
I have always been extremely cheap with it came to my hiking boots/shoes. Taking our first out west trip this year and it was time to invest and I wish I would of done this sooner! The quality is impeccable, while given great comfort and traction! I'm very impressed and will continue to buy more in the future. Already looking running shoes.
This is my fourth pair of Salomon hikers, love them! My only issue is the color choices for women. I prefer earthy colors, not pinks and purples. I guess I could find my size in the men’s shoes, but I know the women size fits perfectly.
I bought the shoes to go hiking in the UK in Snowdonia and they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They have a good grip.
