Cool looking shoe BUT Durability is a joke

Bought a pair of xt4s 6 months ago and needless to say they didn’t last long after occasional light use. The front rubber toe cap started chipping days after casual use around the city, the sole unglued/ worn out like it was nothing, and the inner lining started ripping apart.

Definitely order 1/2 size up.

Definitely order 1/2 size up. This model compares to the XT-6 is a more wider fit. Love the vibrant colour on this model !

This is the best shoe I have ever owned. It is unique on the exterior and functional as an everyday as cushioned as any jogging shoe.

Fenugreek color deceptive
10 June 2022

great shoes, comfy and technical. Unfortunately the fenugreek color that appears tan in the photos is more of a peach, and has an even more pronounced pinkish colordifferentiation in the toe that is not shown online. Still a great shoe and great color, but not the flat desert tan it appears to be in the photos.

Good shoe, but not durable.
16 June 2021

I bought this shoe and was initially impressed with the performance. However, after only 5 uses, the shoe has started to fall apart. First, the laces are fraying; second, the rubber is beginning to separate. Love the brand and hoping I only got a lemon.

Great but…
18 September 2021

Love the aesthetic, the look, the attention to detail but noticed the quality is a bit off. I can see the white threads near the ankle area and glue marks everywhere. Looks like there’s a lot of tension near that area too. Hopefully they won’t rip. I’m hoping I just got a lemon.FYI, I also purchased my usual men’s size and they were a small. Recommend going half a size up.

Keep em’ coming

Purchased them for my fiancé and he loves them. I’ve have a few pairs with issues but these are perfect. They haven’t been used for running or for it’s intended use so I can’t speak of their durability but so far so good.

Love these Solomons

These shoes feel great! While they feel a little bigger than I'm used to the lacing system is great at making sure I can put even pressure over my foot without any hotspots or uneven pressure points. I would consider going one size lower but most of my sports socks are thick so I'll make do. As an added bonus these shoes look fantastic, makes you want to avoid the muddier tracks on the trail. I would highly recommend. Only criticism is the price.

Toe pain. Not meant for wide feet
5 November 2022

Bought this shoe several weeks ago, been wearing it everyday and have noticed that it's starting to give me toe pain that I've never had before. Bought it true to size. I've never had this kind of pain before these shoes. Seriously regret buying it now becuase I can't even return it.

Why do I wear this shoe?
26 August 2021

I “Nordic Walk" … not trekking but the aggressive power push “ski walking" with high end poles. I cover a lot of distance each day at a 6 kph or more speed, almost entirely on a concrete / tar road surface or track. The average shoe starts to breakdown at the 240-300 km mark. Not these. I am usually able to go into the 600 km point before the shoes start to show any wear. My last pair is approaching 800 km and is just starting to show age. Further, the lacing system is a perfect set-and-forget. Unlike a standard lacing system, I never have to stop/adjust the shoe during the walk and no more double-knotting. The shoe fits perfectly and with the lacing system holds its fit during the exercise period. Highly recommend.
