Didn't Last
Guys. I needed a stylish shoe to wear on the daily. I got these in August (it's April now) and my shoes are already falling apart! The toe is peeling back and the cloth is all holey! You should be able to wear a pair of shoes everyday for at least a year without them falling apart. I don't even wear them that hard maybe went on one or two hikes in them. They're also pretty expensive so.... idk. cute and comfortable and true to size but... bruh.... idk guys.... Show more

Gorgeous shoe, strange fit
This shoe has it all - shape, color (black on black), style, profile, details, materials, you name it. Had high hopes for this one but it's very narrow underfoot. First time I've had a shoe fit that's so narrowly under the arch of my foot. Maybe they got the 13M sizing wrong but it's way too tight; my foot is pushing off the sole onto the sides of the shoe. Had to return. Salomon, can you make this footbed a little wider/bigger please? Thanks!... Show more

Hole Developed Quickly With Careful and Light Use
These initially give the impression of a higher quality item. I was disappointed that there is a hole in the material on the side of the ankle. I was careful to untie them and not put much pressure on this area when taking them on and off. The only use these have seen is walking to the office from my car for a month or so. These are sized correctly and don't even have any slop in this area. The only explanation is cheap material. I have not had this issue with most other cheaper products.... Show more

Looks great, feels terrible
This shoe has blown up thanks to celebrities wearing them like streetwear. I think that is why the quality of the shoe has gone down to keep up with demand, and feels nothing like the build quality of my older Salomons. This shoe runs very narrow and long and uncomfortable from the get go for me. I got the 7.5 and had a lot of room between my toes and the tip of the shoe but my midfoot was screaming. No amount of loosening would fix that. I cannot imagine how this sizing is gender inclusive unless all genders have a very narrow and long foot!... Show more

Meh, super overrated sneakers
I had heard good things from a couple people about Salomon’s. However, when I ordered and got them I was disappointed. I got them to replace some hiking shoes and I initially liked how grippy the outsole is. I tried them on after a 3.5 mile hike to make sure the length and width were correct and they although the width is good, the heel felt clunky and the interior footbed was very uncomfortable. I thought it was just the cheap liner, so I put a pair of insoles in them, but that made no difference. In fact I tried two different insoles and the interior of the shoe was so uncomfortable, after taking off my other shoe. I also noticed that the mesh upper material seemed too thick and not breathable at all. The laces were also quite long and unlike the Salomon ... I also noticed that the mesh upper material seemed too thick and not breathable at all. The laces were also quite long and unlike the Salomon Speedcross, there isn’t a pocket on the tongue to store the pull mechanism or rather there is one, but it’s half sewn shut, so unusable for that purpose, which made no sense, so it flops around when you walk. For the $200 price, these shoes were not high quality at all. In fact I am surprised these are so popular since the actual footbed is not comfortable for even 5 minutes let alone a trail run/walk. Anyway, back they went. I’d highly encourage people to try these on after a run to ensure they work for you.... Show more

Not worth the price
I have the white pair and the mesh started to yellow within a few months! I would not recommend this color.I also thought they would be comfortable, but they're not really ... I wore them around Japan and I much preferred wearing my new balances. They were so uncomfortable, the soles of my feet were screaming! They also have terrible grip -- I fell in the rain with these.I want to love them so badly, but they just aren't it.... Show more

Ridiculous high quality and super neat style
I adore these shoes. I’ve worn this pair so much and they still look brand new, even with being the ice color way. They go really great with really any type of pants. (ankle, or light wash denim are my favorites to pair with the Xt-6 expanses) You should 100% get these because they are a staple for anyone’s style. Especially since it’s summer definitely get you a pair of these, because they look great in the sun. Get these over the normal Xt-6, they look way more clean in my opinion. Thanks Salomon... So sad
The heal stabilizer is coming off!! In less than 6 months and no abuse at all!! Things are not what they used to be. I've owned 5 pairs of salomon. They were amazingly built, but the last 2 pairs started falling apart within 6 months and not even after heavy usage. This is unacceptable not only for the price tag but for the history, my first 3 pairs held years of abuse and salomon was recognized for the built quality.I give it 2 stars for the looks and how comfortable they are, but the built quality is extremely disappointing.... Try Walking in my Shoes
Bought these for my son, who’s quite sartorially particular. Apparently, they are (as part of an overall tech-trendiness) all the rage in his youthfull circles. So you can imagine the expectations commanded upon your product. Fortunately your product has effectively hit the spot, as they have been on his feet ever since their arrival. I, for one, was more concerned with the buying/shipping side of things. I can only concur in his high appraisal: It worked a treat. Alas, your services are highly recommended.... Show more

Versatile styling
These were made for the girl that’s going to hike a New England trail and then immediately go to a brewery to try to pet stranger dogs. These were made for the nyc girlies adding gorp to complete their brat outfits. These were made for the elderly who struggle to tie their own shoes and are high fall risk. Also men and other gender identities can wear them, but they’re mostly for the girls.... Show more
