The tradition of Hand Harvesting Celtic Sea Salt began over 900 years ago and has been passed on from generation to generation. This exact same process is still in production today. Pure sea water is channelled into shallow clay basins and evaporated with the sun and the wind and the actions of the salt paludier leaving you with a whole Celtic Sea Salt containing the natural balance of minerals from the ocean. These delicate sun dried (medium sized) moist crystals remain unwashed and completely natural with nothing added and nothing removed. Harvested manually without any mechanical manipulation. Coarse Celtic Sea Salt crystals are slowly dried at a low temperature then stone milled to create the light fluffy consistency of this special Fine variety. It remains completely unwashed, unrefined and additive-free, keeping the salt rich in magnesium and trace elements.This fine ground variety is convenient and easy to use for the table or cooking. Celtic salt is the best as it is hand harvested, sun evaporated Atlantic water. Apparently better than Himalayan salt as it has more trace elements. Rock salt contains a lot of dust from the mining process.
This is exceptional salt. It contains three magnesium’s and around 90 different minerals. I love it!
